The dining room was wholly empty when we walked in. A spread of food dotted the long table but there was no sign of Bastian nor Xavier. And after last night, I wasn't entirely sure that was a bad thing. They had resorted to manipulation which only served to piss me off more. "Levi, honey, what do you want to eat?" I asked him and pulled out a chair in the middle of the table. He scanned the assortment before him before looking up at me. "No sugar, mama?" He asked, giving me a toothy grin. Rolling my eyes, I shook my head lightly and sat down in a chair beside him. By now at least one of them would have come down. Neither showed.
