Fine. I wasn't going to my parents. I couldn't ever bring myself to run to them for help. Not even if Sawyer promised to back me up regarding everything. I refused to give my mother that kind of satisfaction. I also refused to bring Levi into their sphere, just so that they could ruin him the same way they had ruined me. Thus, I stormed out of the pack house, leaving Levi with Christine because I refused to use my child as a prop, and headed for the edge of the woods.
