The other woman rolled her eyes. “Will you two get a room?”
She was short with a slender build and dusky skin. She wore her waist-length, straight black hair in a single braid. Ignoring them, she turned a smile on me.
“It’s nice to meet you. I’m Nalanie. Talented, fox-shifter extraordinaire.”
“Uh, okay. Nice to meet you too.”
I shook her hand.
Ash leaned in to loudly whisper, “She means she’s a thief. A damn good one, too.”
