Lysander POV My cheek rested against soft fur—which made no sense because I was almost positive that I was dead. That Eclipse asshole had shot me point blank in the back of the head. The deafening bang from the gunshot still echoed in my skull. Only by a miracle could I be alive—and I was pretty sure I wasn’t. I opened my eyes and took in the flat black sky with its billions of stars. Except, these looked nothing like the constellations I was familiar with in the Pacific Northwest.
