When Thompson and Julie arrived, they found Dora lying on a hospital bed in the middle of the hallway. When he asked a nurse why she was in the hospital, it was explained to him that there weren’t enough rooms to waste one on someone who was refusing treatment.
Hearing his voice, Dora looked up and was surprised to see that he’d brought Julie. She met Thompson’s eyes and apologized for bothering him. Thompson nodded and asked her what was going on. Dora explained that she felt noxious and light-headed; dizzy – and she couldn’t feel her right arm.
