9 A cool breeze fluttered the curtains over the bedroom window, and sunlight came in to leave a bright square on the brown carpets. It was early morning, and the sun was just starting to peek over the tops of skyscrapers in the city's western quarter. A planet with retrograde motion. That would take some getting used to.
