Left and forward, a voice whispered in his mind. Rajel stopped, looking up toward the heavens with pursed lips. “Keli?” he asked in a voice barely louder than a whisper. “Is that you?” He felt a strong pressure on his mind and bid his Nassai to let Keli contact him. The images she sent him were jumbled and discordant, full of sensations he could not make sense of. Only after a great deal of effort was he able to calm himself and recognize the strange shapes as trees and logs and men. Was this what it was like to experience colour? What a horrid sensation!
