Winter’s POV The air in the clinic felt thick as I finished up the final session of the day. I glanced out the window, the late afternoon sun casting long shadows across the parking lot. The unsettling feeling of being watched hadn’t left me. In fact, it had intensified. I couldn’t shake the sensation that someone was following me, always just out of sight.
