Winter's POV The soft glow of the clinic's lights did barely anything to calm the tension bubbling inside me. Damon's file lay open on my desk, with several medical reports, session notes, and progress charts. I ran my finger along the edge of the folder, but my mind wasn't on his numbers or scans, it was on the meeting with Coach James. The details of the proposal still lingered in my head, each figure jumping out like a conspicuous neon sign. The offer was very lucrative, more than generous, but the implications weren't lost on me.
