Damon's POV After the driver had dropped me home, I made a mental note to ask Coach James if I can get a caregiver of some sorts. I've always hated to depend on people for simple stuff I should be able to get done by myself. I've always been a self-reliant individual, mostly because I never really had anyone to rely on. I helped myself inside the house and today happened to be one of those days I thank God I didn't buy a duplex because I can't imagine how hard it would be to climb a flight of stairs with one numb leg. My living room is basically a simple room with high ceilings and a spacious layout. Nothing too grand because I never liked big houses. The walls are neutral toned. I hate the fact that I didn't really have anything else to fall back on aside from basketball. I'm desperate
