Perry glanced at Gina, a little embarrassed. She cupped her hand over the phone and turned to the side. "Well, what about you then? Did you miss me?"
Richard had gone abroad for her. "Of course I did. I think about you all the time. How are you holding up?"
Perry had been feeling uneasy all day, but hearing his voice calmed her down a bit. "I'm doing okay. Richard, you have to take care of yourself over there, alright? And make sure to call me every day."
"I will," he paused, "The car's here to pick us up. I'll call you again when I can. Love you."
