Perry and Richard strolled down to the creek. There weren't any streetlights here, but luckily, the full moon overhead was bright enough. Nothing beats enjoying a moonlit night with the person you love.
"Alicia's still into you. She hasn't let go yet," Perry said softly.
Richard squeezed her hand a little. "A lot of people like me, but you're the only one I care about. That little nickname you just used? Loved it. Say it again."
She leaned against him. "What nickname? I always just call you Richard."
"Nope, not that one. Think again."
Perry knew exactly what he meant. That word had slipped out earlier when she was trying to get under Alicia's skin. Now, with just the two of them here, she couldn't bring herself to say it again. "I can't remember."
