After the speech, the atmosphere in the room shifted from quiet to jubilant as everyone began to celebrate. The food, an exquisite array of delicacies, delighted the guests' taste buds, leaving them eager for more. Jarvis, though usually a bundle of nerves, managed to maintain his composure for the most part, occasionally sharing a light-hearted laugh. Meanwhile, Princess Emily, was just not there.
"Hey Felix, what class do you think you'll end up in?" Oliver asks me.
"Umm, maybe grade BH?" I reply, with "H" representing honors. Oliver chuckles and his friend, who is also present, joins in.
"Well, you two haven't really introduced yourselves yet, have you?" The yellow-haired boy and I lock eyes, and he eventually breaks the silence. "My name is Trent-Alexander Maximus. You can just call me Trent, though." He smiles warmly at me.
"My name is Felix. Felix Smith, the non-noble that everyone's been talking about," I say, slightly embarrassed. I then glance over at Oliver, who offers a strange smirk. However, I don't read too much into it and move on. After a talking and eating, the party quiets down and everyone starts leaving for the dorms they were assigned to. Oliver and Trent decide to leave since they were roommates leaving me alone to pick up after our mess.
"Looks like you were having fun." A cold, sassy voice whispered directly next to my ears and I turned around. It turned out to be Princess Emily. Half her face is bright because of the mood of day. I frown at her for a moment before finally saying.
"I thought you promised not to bother me anymore, Emily." I take a step back away from her.
"Oh well, Outdated anyways." She smirks cheerfully.
"What funny business do you have for me?" Emily's eyes glimmered with a sinister intent as she stepped closer to Felix, her voice now a chilling whisper.
"I've been observing you, Felix Smith. You're quite the interesting specimen. You see, I require a certain... unique ingredient for my latest concoction. Something that only you can provide."
Felix's brow furrowed in confusion and wariness. "And what would that be?"
Emily's smile widened, revealing her sharp canines. "Your blood, of course. Specifically, your rare and powerful type. I've heard rumors about your abilities, and I need that kind of strength for my potion. A potion that will grant me unimaginable power." I just stare at her, my eyes wide open from shock.
"Why the f**k would I ever do that for you?" I shout, taking a few more steps back for safety. At this point, I knew this princess was a devil on the inside. A devil that should not have her ways. Emily's eyes narrowed, and her expression shifted from amusement to pure malice.
"You have two options, Felix Smith. You can willingly offer your blood to me, or I can make it a painful and forceful extraction. The choice is yours, but I suggest you think carefully. Time is of the essence, and I don't like to be kept waiting."
My heart pounded in my chest, and my mind raced with thoughts. I knew I couldn't let her have what she wanted, not without a fight. I've got to find a way to escape this predicament, to warn the others about the danger that Princess Emily posed. But I know that I can't underestimate her. She is a powerful figure in this world, and many had fallen under her wrath.
Taking a deep breath, I mustered every ounce of courage he had. "I will not give you my blood, Emily. You're a monster, and I won't be a part of your twisted experiments." My voice steady, despite the fear that gripped his insides.
Emily's lips curled into a wicked grin. "You're a brave one, aren't you, Felix? I admire your courage, but it will be your downfall. You've made your choice. Now, we'll see if you can live with the consequences. See you in a while." See smirks as she turns around and disappears in the shadows.
Jarvis: She's a crazy b***h.
"Yeah, I know. But she won't be easy to face. She could turn the whole kingdom against me if she wanted to." I look at the sky, ready to face any other challenges that come in my way.
