1730 Words
As I entered the academy gates, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement mixed with nervousness. The grand architecture of the academy was breathtaking, with towering spires and intricate carvings adorning every corner. I made my way to the registration desk, where I was greeted by a friendly staff member. "Welcome to the Sovereign Academy, new student," they said with a warm smile. "I'm here to help you with the registration process. Please have your acceptance letter and identification ready." I handed over the necessary documents, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sea of new faces around me. The staff member carefully reviewed my papers before handing me a schedule and a map of the academy. "You'll be attending classes in the Elemental Magic department," they explained. "Your schedule includes theory classes, practical sessions, and elective courses. Make sure to attend all your classes on time, and don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it." With my schedule in hand, I began to explore the vast halls of the academy, taking in the sights and sounds of my new home. I couldn't wait to start my classes and discover the full extent of my magical abilities. Little did I know, my first day at the academy would turn out to be far from ordinary. "Hey Jarvis, what do you think about this place so far?" I say in a cheerful tune. Jarvis: s**t. I can make a better academy. "You're just hating mate, this place is so beautiful!" I walk through the halls, navigating my way towards the Elemental Magic Department. After a while of walking in circles, I end up admitting that i'm lost. I scout around until I find a brunette haired lady that goes to the same department that I go to, so naturally, I went to go ask her where class 1-B Theory is. "Hey mam?" I ask. "You talking to me?" She turns towards me. "Yes, do you know where Room 1-B is?" I show her the list of my classes and point to the first period. She observes the paper for a little before finally turning around. "Go to the building with the Green EMD at the top, go right towards the elevator and go to Floor 3. They're, you'll find room 1-B." Back to the Headquarters. Four of the seven Merciless Seven are gathered around a table in a quiet room, accompanied by Majin Lee. The air is tense as they discuss their next move. Suddenly, Iron Fist speaks up, breaking the silence. Rank-A, magic: Iron. "So, where are the rest?" He raises his eyebrows. A pink haired, pony tailed girl gets up from her chair, she wears a white clothed-dress with a black skirt. The Pony tail runs from her head to shoulder, shaking intensely with every turn. "They are busy with their "Top secret missions that only they can pull off", A load of bullshit!" Rosefinn says, Irratated. Rank-A+, Magic: Throned-plants. Iron Fist narrows his eyes, clearly not appreciating the language used by Rosefinn. He takes a deep breath before speaking, trying to maintain a sense of composure. "Regardless of how you feel about their absence, we must focus on the task at hand. We cannot let our emotions cloud our judgment." He pauses, looking around the table at each of his fellow Merciless members. "We need to come up with a plan to locate the missing artifacts that our liege wants." Llorient Frost, Rosefinn, and Essense nod in agreement. Majin Lee nods in agreement as well, leaning forward with his elbows on the table. "We should start by gathering any information we have on the last known locations or possible leads. Time is of the essence, and we cannot afford to waste it." The room falls silent as the members of the Merciless Seven begin to share their findings, piecing together the puzzle of the missing artifact. The tension in the air is palpable, as they work together to devise a plan that will bring the artifacts in their hands and in no others. Suddenly, the door barges in, and Dark star, A+++ Rank, Dark Star staggers into the room, his eyes wide with panic and his face covered in blood. The sight of him sends a chill down the spines of the Merciless Seven, and they immediately spring into action, asking questions and trying to assess the situation. "What happened?" demands Iron Fist, his voice steady despite the shocking scene before him. Gasping for breath, Dark Star manages to croak out a few words. "It was a trap... I was ambushed... They're after the artifacts too." Majin Lee's eyes narrow as he takes in the grim news. "Who are they?" Dark Star shakes his head, wincing in pain from his injuries. "I don't know... But they're powerful. I barely escaped with my life." Rosefinn quickly moves to examine Dark Star's wounds, muttering under her breath as she tries to assess the damage. "We need to clean and bandage these right away brother. You're lucky to be alive, but you can't keep fighting like this." As the other members of the Merciless Seven discuss their next move, they know that time is running out. The enemy is getting bolder, and the stakes are higher than ever. They must act quickly and decisively to protect their liege's interests and recover the missing artifacts before it's too late. With a renewed sense of urgency, they begin to strategize, piecing together the clues they have and filling in the gaps left by Dark Star's harrowing experience. The fate of their mission, and possibly the entire organization, rests in their hands. They cannot afford to make a single misstep. "What happened to Lania? Didn't she go with you?" Lee asks. the scars around his face shining in the only light in the darkness. "She... Betrayed me and dipped. Leaving me to die." Dark star moans in pain, passing out from the injuries. Lee looks at his body and then shrugs. "What should we do? New-comer?" Suddenly Princess Emilia comes out of the shadows, pulling the cloak covering her face down. "I think I have an idea." Back to Felix I barge into the classroom, late by 15 minutes. The whole class including the professor look at me, surprised. The professor lays his books down and adjusts his glasses. He looks pretty old, his hair is white and he is pretty short, like any other professor from any manga or story. His professor cloak almost as tall as him, going down to his shoes. "Well you're quite late. You missed the introductions." He smiles. I nod in frustration, trying to show how sorry I am. "I was just lost." "Well you introduce yourself at least young man?" He inquires, raising one of his eyebrows. I walk to the center of the room and I raise my voice. 'My name is Felix Smith, I am from the village of Sierra." Almost all the kids, who are most likely all nobles, raise there eyebrows. The professor gestures for me to take a seat in the empty chair next to a girl who is intently taking notes. She glances at me briefly, then returns to her work, not even sparing a glance when the professor begins to speak again. "Now that our latecomer has joined us, let's proceed with today's lesson. We will be discussing the history of magical artifacts and their significance in the world of magic." He pauses, looking around the room to ensure everyone is paying attention. "As you all know, magical artifacts are objects imbued with powerful magic, often passed down through generations or hidden away for safekeeping." He proceeds to share his knowledge on the topic, explaining the different categories of artifacts, their uses, and the potential dangers they pose if they fall into the wrong hands. I listen intently, my mind wandering back to the events of the previous night. The discussion of As the lesson continues, I can't help but feel a growing sense of urgency. I really had to piss. I notice the focused expression on the girl next to me's face. She seems to be completely locked in on the lesson, her pen moving rapidly across her notepad. Despite my distractions, I manage to glean some valuable information from the professor's lecture. I make a mental note to research the artifacts further, just so I don't fail the class, As the class comes to an end, the professor asks if there are any questions. The girl sitting next to me raises her hand, her voice clear and confident as she asks a detailed question about a specific type of artifact. The professor is impressed, praising her knowledge and encouraging the rest of the class to engage in similar discussions. Feeling a bit embarrassed by my own lack of participation, I decide to ask a question as well. I raise my hand, hoping to gain some insight that might help me with my studies. "Professor," I begin, "are there any specific locations or clues that are often associated with the recovery of lost artifacts?" The professor smiles, nodding approvingly at my question. "An excellent question, indeed. While each artifact is unique, there are often patterns that can be observed. Some artifacts are known to be hidden in specific locations, such as ancient ruins or secret chambers. Others may be accompanied by clues or riddles that must be solved in order to find them. It is through the study of history and magical lore that we can hope to uncover these secrets and recover the lost artifacts." As the class is dismissed, I thank the professor for his insight and make my way out of the room. The girl from the seat next to me is already gone, disappearing into the crowded halls of the academy. I make a mental note to try and speak with her further – she may prove to be a valuable ally in my quest to not fail this boring-ass class. With a renewed sense of purpose, I head to the library to begin my research. The clock on the wall ticks away as I pore over ancient texts and scrolls, searching for any information that might lead me to the holy A+. Time is running out, but I am determined to see this mission through, no matter the cost.
