Ryan’s POV.
“She is missing, she is not dead.” I said to Tash. She has been crying her eyes out because she has not seen Tiwa for four days and according to her, on her way to go inform the elders of Tiwa’s sudden disappearance, she overheard Marisol tell the other elders that Tiwa is dead and they should be careful and caution of how they break the news to the people. They planned on informing the people of the supposed death of Tiwa three months from now.
“How do you know she is not dead? The elders confirmed it and you know the elders don’t make mistakes.” She said in between sobs.
“Tiwa is not dead. The only reason why the elders tagged her dead is because of her little disagreement with them. They must have her hidden somewhere beyond anyone’s reach.” I reassured her again. There is so much the elders are hiding from us.
“What do you mean by little argument and why will the elders keep her and lie about her death.” Tash asked me.
“I don’t know either but all I know is that the elders have a lot they are keeping from us and Tiwa stupidly gave them her authority and they misused it. Also I am aware of the fact that they declared war with her. I never knew they will take it this far. Surely there is something they are keeping from us.” I said.
“If she is not dead like you said, then where will the elders be hiding her?” Tash asked.
“A place we cannot reach, that is where the elders is keeping them.” I replied.
“Then how do w………….. what? Them? How come it is them and not her? Is there something you are not telling me?” Tash asked me. She obviously was going out of her mind but I don’t intend on taking the fault of not telling her. Tiwa can very well handle that on her own.
“We should find them before the elders do something bad to her.” I said that to distract her attention from the question and luckily for me, it worked.
“So what’s the plan?” she asked me
“We should keep tabs of what the elders are doing, where they are, what they are saying and who they are speaking with. Not all might be the enemy after all.” I replied Tash.
“How is that possible? You know how sensitive the elders can be, so how possibly can we keep tabs on them?” Tash asked the obvious question. After so much thought on how we can successfully carry out the plan meticulously without being caught, a plan crossed my mind.
“Why not let’s try that your discovery?” I said to Tash.
“What discovery?” she asked me and I smiled at her and she got it.
“No, not that, I haven’t tried it out yet and we turning into flies gosh I can’t even imagine how it can be moreover, it has after effects and the spell wears off after 10 minutes.” She stated.
“There is nothing else we can do apart from that, we need to listen to their conversations to be able to get a lead on where Tiwa is.” I said with hopefulness.
“That is if at all she is not dead like you claim.” She replied and I took that as a yes from her.
We did as we planned the second day but nothing happened. We were not able to gather enough information. It’s been six days Tiwa has gone missing. Tash is starting to feel the elders are right.
I was depressed and worried sick of where she could be. Is she alive or dead? Honestly speaking I was starting to have false hope of her being alive. I was at the verge of giving up totally when I heard Tiwa reach out to me.
“Ryan!” her subconscious mind called out to me.
“Tiwa?” I called back out to her to confirm she is the one. She sounded exhausted
“Yes, it is me Ryan.” She said
“Where have you been for six days? Do you know how worried Natasha and I are?” I admit I was so worried that something might have happened to her so I questioned her.
“Mar…… wait what? I have been kidn*pped for six days?” she asked. She obviously didn’t know she has been missing for six days.
“kidn*pped? Where are you? Who kidn*pped you?” kidn*pped? Who dare kidnap the Overlord. Well obviously, those who faked her death.
“I never took you for the type who gets worried.” In this state of hers, I can’t believe she can still be humorous. And what does she mean about me not being the worried type. Of course I get worried for my friends. And I am not the talking type but she made me the talking type. She broke so many walls around me and she doesn’t know that? I was going to address this but decided to later because she is in need of help.
“Drop this and tell me what happened.” I demanded.
“I will tell you what happened after you come save me and that is if you arrived before I die.” She said jokingly but sounded truthful.
“Okay! Where are you?” I asked.
“Honestly I don’t know.” She replied
“Carefully listen to the wind and let it tell you where you are.” I suggested.
She hasn’t tried that before so I was hoping she will get it, in other to give me enough information so I can save her before anything happens to her.
“I am in a hut not far from our special place but the hut is in the woods.” She informed me.
“Am coming.” That was all I said.
I went to where Tash was and excused her away from there.
“She is alive but she needs us now or something terrible might happen to her.” I said to her. She looked at me and like I knew her for who she is, she started contemplating on either to believe me or not.
“It won’t pain to look at least.” She said and that was all I needed to hear.
We went to the woods and started looking for the hut I never knew was there.
“Ryan, where are you?” she reached out to me again but more desperately that before.
“Hold on Tiwa. Please Hold on.” I begged
“Ryan I can’t hold up anymore. I am blac………” she was slurping on her words. She really might die if we don’t increase our pace of finding her.
“Tiwa, I need you to hold on and continue talking to me. Tiwa.” She blacked out already. We really need to do something on her blacking out too much. After searching in the woods for about five minutes, I said a footstep only one. There was no other.
“Is this some kind of passage to where she is locked up?” Tash asked me.
“I don’t know only an Inferni like you can know.” I said. After trying so many things for a while, Tash said she got this.
“Las ante mingos limdo rasdo a’late minido ribla.” She recited the mantra seven times with her arms wide opened and surprisingly an invincible hut was revealed. Okay no panic and no wows we’ve gotta save them.
She was tied with magical ropes while the guy she calls Ope was tied with a normal rope which ws easily loosened. I told Tash to listen to his heartbeat and she confirmed him alive but in a deep slumber.
“Do you know any spell to loosen the magical rope around her? It is crushing her bones and I can feel her pain.” I said to Tash.
“I have a concoction that can loosen the rope but we need a place to hide. I know about this rope, if it is not loosened by the owner, the owner will be notified.” Tash said. We didn’t have any more time to think.
“Do you have the invincibility concoction with you?” I asked and she searched her bad thoroughly and found it. Luck is on our side after all. She loosened the rope and whoever tied her up must have already gotten the signal. We went out of the hut and I carried Tiwa and Ope to a safer place while Tash made the hut invisible again.
“We have to stay together and the invincibility concoction will be administered to only one person so we can see each other. If it is administered differently we can’t see each other.” Tash informed me. There was no more time to waste so I took Tiwa and Ope hands and placed it on Tash’s afterwards, I placed mine on top, she poured the concoction and started her mantra.
“You should be fast.” I was hearing footsteps already, they sounds of the footstep were coming closer and luckily she finished before we were seen. If she was 3 seconds late, we would have been caught and only the Creator knows what would have happened to us.
It was Marisol and Leslie. After they left, we definitely ain’t going back to the main land or else, we will be buried alive. So we moved deep into the woods and there we found a place to stay till Tiwa and Ope are finally up.
