Chapter 6.

[Freyas POV].

I really can't believe I thought Sam was going to reject me, I felt so stupid. Specially after what he said, I chuckled thinking about it.

"what?" Sam asked me.

We were still in the games room.

"just thinking about how silly I was for thinking you were going to reject me" I laughed again.

"Yeah that was pretty silly" he said and smiled at me, his smile was beautiful and just made me heart flutter. There was something I had to ask him, that I didn't really want to know but kind of needed to know.

"So when they annouce me as your mate... How many girls am I going to have be fighting off?" I asked and looked down at floor.

"None" he said and I whipped my head back up to look at him.

"Huh?" did he understand my question.

"Freya I have never had a relationship with any shewolf nor have I ever... Slept with anyone. Mainly because of how I felt for you, but also because I have heard stories of Alphas who had relationships with the wrong shewolf and then it turning into a whole mess when they find their mate and I didn't want to go through that. And the fact that Bullet would growl any time a shewolf came near me... Except for you, you are the only one he's ever been fine with and that's why I was convinced you were my mate" he smiled at me again, I didn't know what to say.

"But.." He started to say, oh Goddess what..

"There is this one girl.. who has a bit of an obsession with me, when she turned 18 she claimed that I was her mate. but obviously I did not feel the mate bond with her so I called her out on her bullshit, but she wasn't happy about it so she just kept trying. she even snuck into my room once.."

"What!?" I growled, he held my hand to calm me down and continued.

"I wanted to ban her from the pack house completely but my parents said it was a bit harsh she was just a girl with a crush so I banned her from going upstairs, she was only aloud down here. and then she applied for a cleaning job.. To clean the Alpha floor" he said and rolled his eyes.

"But Sara ran it by me first and I obviously said no, she hasn't bothered me really since then and that was a few months ago now"

"Does she by any chance have short dirty blonde hair and is just a bit shorter than me?" I asked him.

"Yeah that's Jessica, why?"

"Because she was giving me dirty looks earlier" I told him.

He shrugged his shoulders "well when my dad makes the announcement that I have found my mate hopefully she will back off... Speaking of we should get back to the party, my mum mindlinked asking where we were cause my dad's going to make his speech soon and he will have to change it now that you and Ashleigh will be staying here now" he said.

As we were walking back to the party, I was smiling. I was happy that me and Ashleigh had found our mates and that we would be in the same pack together, but I also felt sad leaving my pack and my family. I know they will be happy for me and I can go visit them and they will come here, but it still made me sad.

"There you are!" Amanda said rushing over to us.

"Congratulations darlings" she said winking at me before giving me a hug.

"Right come on, your dad is about to speak"

she led us to a little make shift stage and Joe was already there.

"Ladies and gentlemen" Joe started to speak.

"As you all know we are having this little get together tonight to welcome two shewolves that are going to be stay with us for a few months... Well things have changed as they have both found their mates and will now be staying with us permanently" the pack members clapped and some cheered and whistled.

"so without any further a do, I present to you your future Beta female.. Ashleigh Parker!" Dean and Ashleigh joined Joe on the stage and the pack members clapped and cheered again.

"And.. your future Luna Freya Knight!"

Me and Sam joined them on the stage, Sam put his arm around me and smiled down at me. Pack members were cheering even louder now and as I was looking out at all the faces, I saw her. Jessica Sam said her name was. Just staring at me with a disgusted look on her face, I smirked at her and she looked away.

Sam spun me around and dipped me and then gave me a kiss, the cheers and whistles were deafening.

"Ok OK, everyone enjoy the rest of the party!" Joe finished and we all got off the stage.

"So have you told your parents yet?" Joe asked me.

"Uh.. no not yet, I'm going to call them in the morning" I said with a smile.

Ashleigh came running over to me and nearly knocked me over with a hug.

"Ooff girl calm down" I said laughing.

"I can't! I'm just so happy for us!" she said clapping her hands.

"and I told you he wouldn't reject you" she whispered to me.

"He's an Alpha. he probably heard that you donut" I laughed at her and turned to look at Sam who was smiling, and then realised and hadn't even introduced them yet.

"Sam, this is my bestfriend Asheligh. Ash this is Sam" I said

"it's so nice to finally meet you Alpha Sam I have heard SO much about you" Ashleigh said winking at me.

"Really?" he asked.

"Yeah Freya never shuts up about you and how hot you.. ow" I kicked her in the leg.

"b***h" she said and stuck her tongue out at me and then ran off with Dean, I just rolled my eyes.

I turned back to Sam.

"was she going to say you can't stop talking about how hot I am?" he said wriggling his eyebrows and flexing his muscles, I'm pretty sure I drooled a litte.

"Stop it" I said and smacked him on the arm.

"come on" we went back to the party and had more food, drinks, we danced and laughed with our friends.

It was 1am and me, Sam, Dean and Ashleigh were the only ones left outside. I was tired and wanted to go to bed, I mindlinked Ashleigh.

"Hey Ash, have you told Dean you'll be staying in his room tonight?" I asked her.

"Yeah why?"

"Do you want to mess with them a little?" we cut the link and she smiled at me.

I stood up and stretched.

"Right Ash shall we get going back to our room? it's been a long day and I want to go to bed"

Ashleigh stood up to.

"Yeah come on let's go" She said trying not to laugh.

Dean came up behind her and picked her up.

"I don't think so" he said and carried her away.

"Well I guess I'm going back to my room alone" I said to Sam I was also trying desperately not to laugh but Sams face was making it hard.

"Yeah.. I don't think so either baby girl" he lifted me up and put me over his shoulder like a cave man, I was kicking and giggling, he smacked me on the butt and I squealed. He practically ran up the stairs.

"Wait Sam stop" I whispered trying not to wake anyone up.

"Why so you can try and runaway?"

"No I need to grab some stuff from my room"

He put me down quietly and followed very close behind me, I opened the door and Sam sat on the bed.

I grabbed a gym bag and just threw in some pjs and grabbed some toiletries I would need in the morning.

"Ok I'm ready"

"We will get the rest of your stuff in the morning" he said.

"Anyway.. Where were we?" he said tapping his chin. "Oh yeah" he threw me over his shoulder again and I giggled.

"I can walk you know?"

"Naah I like carrying you like this" he replied.

"and besides I've got a great view" he said and grabbed a cheek, I slapped my hand over my mouth not to squeal again.

We finally made it to his room.. or should I say our room now. He put me down and opened the door. "Ladies first" he said and bowed. I shook my head and laughed at him.

This was the first time I was in his room, it was massive. The walls were covered in a cream and gold marble wallpaper, the floors were a dark wood, he had an alskan king bed and it was huge and was also dark brown and the bedding matched the wallpaper. I looked around at the beautiful room in awe, I saw double doors on the left side of the room and another door on the right which i assumed was the bathroom. I went over to the double doors and opened them, it was his walk in wardrobe and his scent in here was overwhelming. I left the walk in wardrobe and went back in to the bedroom, Sam was just walking out of the bathroom.. and he was in just his boxers, he was trying to kill me I swear. I grabbed my bag and rushed passed him to the bathroom, two can play at that game. I washed my face and brushed my teeth, I brushed my hair and put it in a messy bun and then put my pyjamas on. They were pretty much just white short shorts and a crop top with little red hearts all over them, I opened the door to the bathroom and walked out. Sam was lay on the bed resting against the headboard with his hands behind his head, he looked so damn good and suddenly I felt a little self conscious. The more I looked at him I could feel myself getting turned on and then I started to feel wet, Sams head snapped towards me and he took a deep breath, the next thing I knew he had used his wolf speed and was stood right infront of me. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me towards him, he put his face in the crook of my neck and inhaled deeply through his nose.

"You smell amazing" he said and I felt a growl from his chest and he started kissing my neck. It felt so good.. But this was going too far and I wasn't ready yet. I put my hand on his chest and pushed him lightly.

"Sam wait" he stopped what he was doing and looked down at me.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not ready yet" I said and looked at the floor.

"Hey it's ok" he made me look at him.

"I'm not going to rush you, take all the time you need. You let me know when you are ready" I kissed him on the lips and we got into bed, Sam out his arms around me and pulled me close to him, his scent surrounded me and I fell asleep instantly.
