Chapter 17.

[Freyas POV].

My days with Sam blurred into weeks and the weeks blurred into months, six months to be exact since me and Ashleigh came to White Moon.

James and Zoe had their pup, I was gutted because it was a boy and they couldn't call him Freya, I did suggest Freyo but they said absolutely not. They named him Alexander, and he is a beautiful big pup.

Its was Christmas Eve and me, Sam, Ashleigh, Dean, Emma and Scott were sat by the fireplace drinking hot chocolate and chatting.

I had convinced everyone to wear matching Christmas pyjamas too, the guys were reluctant at first but us girls convinced them easily.

I swear I was more excited about Christmas than the pups were, I loved Christmas. It is without a doubt my favourite time of year.

I looked around me at all the people I loved and smiled.

"Are you ok?" Sam asked looking down at me.

"Yeah, I'm just so happy" I smiled at him and he smiled back at me.

"Right guys we're going to bed" Dean stood and said and Ashleigh nodded.

"Yeah us too" Scott said standing up too.

I looked at Sam.

"Yeah we should go to bed too, no doubt Ashleigh will be banging on our door a stupid o'clock tomorrow" I laughed. I knew if anyone was as excited for Christmas as me it was Ashleigh.

We went our separate ways and went to bed, I tried to sleep but my excitement made it hard.

I rolled over and Sam was fast asleep, I snuggled close to him took deeps breaths inhaling his scent trying to calm my excitement and fell to sleep.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Freya! Sam! wake up it's Christmaaaaas!" Ashleigh sang from the other side of the bedroom door, I groaned and rolled over grabbing my phone to check the time. I was shocked to see it was 7am, I thought I would have been awake by now.

"Freya! Sam! Are you up?"

"Yes Ash! Give us a sec jeez!"

I got up went and washed my face and brushed my teeth, Sam followed me in the bathroom and did the same.

"Right let's go before Ash knocks the door down" I laughed.

I opened the door and Ashleigh practically jumped on me.

"Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas Ash" I laughed.

We made our way downstairs, we all sat infront of the massive Christmas tree. Everyone's parents were here too except mine and Ashleighs of course and my grandparents.

We let the parents open their presents first, we had all decide to get them a month long holiday to Marbella, Spain for summer next year. To say they were grateful was an understatement, but they deserved it.

Ashleigh and Emma went next, I had got us all matching rose gold necklaces that a little heart charm that were engraved with Luna, Beta and Gamma respectively.

The girls opened the rest of their presents and then I gave Sam his presents from me, Sam was someone who didn't like to buy for himself. And when I asked him what I could get for him he said he didn't need anything and as long as he had me he was happy. But I obviously wasn't going to take that answer.

I had got him some new clothes, a couple new pairs of Vans in different colours, a big bottle of his favourite cologne and I saved the best one for last. He opened it and looked at me.

"Freya you didn't" I smiled at him.

"What is it son?" Joe asked him.

"it a Jaguar Swiss Made watch" he said and pulled it out.

"I know you've been looking at them for ages but would never buy yourself one so I got it for you" I shrugged and smiled.

He smiled back and gave me a gentle kiss.

It was my turn to open presents and I also got lots of clothes, shoes and perfumes. I also got bubble baths, bath salts and bath bombs. Everyone knows how much I love my baths.

"And I have one last present for you" Sam said and handed me a small box with a little ribbon on it, I opened it and looked confused. It was a key.

"What's this?" I asked him.

"Close your eyes and follow me" he said grabbing my hand. I could hear everyone else get up and follow us too, curious as to what it was. I felt the cold air and realised we were outside and I heard Ashleigh gasp behind me.

"Ok open your eyes" I heard Sam say and now it was my turn to gasp, I swear I felt like I was going to pass out. It was my dream car.. The 1969 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, it was full black and it was stunning.

"How?" I asked Sam.

"I know some people" he shrugged and smiled at me.

"Do you like it?"

"Like it!? I love it!" I squealed and jumped up and down and clapped my hands.

"I love it, I love it, I love it!" I turned around and jumped into Sam's arms. "and I love you" I said and gave him a kiss.

"Want to take it for a quick spin?"

"yes! yes! yes!" I literally jumped out of his arms and ran to the car while everyone laughed at me.

I jumped in the drivers side and Sam got in the passenger seat, we were still in our pjs but I didn't care we weren't going to go far.

When we got back, my face was hurting from smiling so much.

"Thank you for giving me the best gift in the world" I said to Sam and he smiled at me.

"You're welcome my love"

When we walked into the pack house it was chaos as Omegas were setting everything up, we were hosting Christmas dinner for the pack. Well those that wanted to, a lot of the pack members would make their own dinner at their homes with their families. The pack members who lived alone or didn't have the time would be coming for dinner at the pack house and it was just over one hundred pack members that were joining us.

I walked in the dining room and saw just one Omega setting up the tables on her own.

"Here let me help you with this Nikki" I said and took some of the tables cloths from her.

"Oh thank you Luna" she said and bowed.

"No problem" I smiled at her.

Once we'd set up all the tables cloths, we set out the cutlery and napkins.

"thank you so much Luna, I really appreciate it. I would have been here all day if it wasn't for you" she bowed again.

"You're welcome Nikki" she smiled at me.

I went to the kitchen.

"Is there anything I can help with in here?" I asked.

"Oh no Luna, we are fine thank you" Mrs Grey said, I nodded at her.

I went to go find everyone else and found them in the games room, they were playing the PlayStation.

"Hey guys, what you playing?"

"Call of Duty" Scott replied without taking his eye off the screen.

"Oh can I join next game?"

"You play?"

"of course!"

Their game finished and I joined. We played team death match, first team to 100 kills wins.

The game ended with me at the top of the leader board with 75 kills, 0 deaths and 15 assists.

"Jeez girl you didn't have to show us up like that" Dean laughed.

"Damn badass gamer too, is there anything you can't so?" Sam said.

"dunno yet" I shrugged and laughed.

"Right I'm going to go upstairs and start getting ready, dinner will be ready in about an hour"I said and kissed Sam on the cheek and made my way upstairs.

I jumped out of the shower wrapped a towel around myself and my hair and went to the walk in wardrobe, I put on my underwear and pulled out the dress I specifically bought for today and put it on. It was a red long sleeve dress, the sleeves were lace and it flowed out at my waist and stopped just above my knee, it is so pretty. I put on some red ballerina flats, I could not be bothered to wear heels today. I went to my vanity and did my hear and makeup, I did some loose curls and did a half up, half down hair do. I did light make up with a red lip. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled.

"the Moon Goddess truly blessed me when she made you my mate" I heard Sam. I didn't even hear him come in the room, I turned and smiled at him.

"Go get ready, your mum will kill us if we're late"I said pushing him towards the bathroom. He literally showered at the speed of light, went in to the wardrobe. He came out wearing his black suit and black dress shoes, my Goddess he looked good. I shook my head we didn't have time for that.

We left the room and went downstairs, pack members were already filling up the dining room.

I saw Brad and his mate Rachel walking towards us, Rachel also gave birth to their pup two months ago. You see werewolf pregnancies are different to humans, werewolves are only pregnant for five months unlike humans who are pregnant for nine.

Rachel was holding there little pup, they had a girl and named her Arabella.

"Hey guys!" I smiled at them. We said our pleasantries and I looked at Rachel.

"May I?" I asked while looking at Arabella.

"Oh of course Luna" she said and handed her to me.

"Rachel I've told you, you can call me Freya" I smiled at her and she smiled back at me and nodded.

"Hello beautiful girl" I smiled at Arabella.

"Oh my goodness, who's a beautiful girl? You are, yes you are. I could just eat you all up, yes I could nom nom nom" Arabella gave me a gummy smile and I swear I felt my heart melt.

"Ok let me give you back to your mummy" I said and passed her back to Rachel.

We chatted a little more and they left to find their table.

I then saw Reece and his mate Alice.

"Alpha, Luna" they both bowed.

"How many times do I have to tell you both to just call me Freya" I said to them.

"Sorry Freya, it's a force of habit" Alice smiled at me.

"Well Alpha, Freya we have some news" Reece said smiling at Alice.

"I'm pregnant" she said putting a hand on her stomach. And then I felt a pang in my heart, a pang of jealousy seeing all these little pups and pregnant shewolves was making me envious. I always knew I wanted to be a mum, but I didn't expect to feel this way at 20 years old.

"congratulations to you both" I said with a genuine smile.

"Congratulations" Sam said and smiled at them too.

Sam could feel my emotions through our bond and I'm pretty sure he felt that bit of jealousy I just had.

"come on" Sam pulled me to the stage at the back of dining room.

"Good Evening everyone!"

"Good Evening Alpha! Luna"

"Everyone please eat and drink as much as you desire! Merry Christmas!" Sam said raising his glass.

"Merry Christmas!" Everyone replied raising their glasses in cheers.

I smiled next to Sam, this was the best Christmas ever. Even though I did miss my family, but these people were also my family now too.
