Chapter 11.

[Sams POV].

The next morning we set off for Gold Moon, the drive there didn't take too long because we left early and managed to miss the traffic. We pulled up outside the pack house, which was a lot smaller than ours. Gold Moon is a smaller pack so it made sense, we got out of the car and I grabbed our bags. Dean and Ashleigh had come in Dean's car because we were going to need as much car space as possible for the girls stuff, we entered the pack house and I could see smile on Freyas face at being back here.

I heard a small squeal and a tiny voice shout "Freyaa!" and a little girl around 5 or 6 came running over to us.

Freya kneeled down and the girl ran into her arms.

"Oh Maisey Moo, I've missed you" Freya said and picked the girl up.

"I've missed you too Freya" she said and started playing with Freyas hair. And then she looked over at me and hid her face in Freyas hair.

"Who's he?" she whispered.

"Maisey, this Alpha Sam. Sam this is Maisey, she is the Gammas daughter"

"Well it's very nice to meet you Gamma Maisey" I said and kissed her little hand.

"You're pretty" she said I smiled at her.

"Hey little lady, are you trying to steal my mate?"

Maisey gasped. "He's your mate?"

Freya smiled and nodded.

"Maisey where have you gone?" I heard a female voice calling out.

"I've got her Amy"

A woman came round the corner who looked like an older version of Maisey.

"Oh there you are! You can't just go running off like that baby" she said taking her from Freya.

"But Freyas here" she whined.

"I know, but I told you to wait for us"

"Frey! how are you?" she said and hugged her with her free arm.

"I'm good, you?"

"Two pups is all I'm going to say" Freya laughed.

"Amy, this is Sam my mate. Sam this is Gamma Amy" Freya said introducing us.

"It's nice to meet you Gamma" I said and shook her hand.

"It's nice to meet you too Alpha, I've heard a lot about you"

I smirked at Freya who shook her head.

"My mate should be along any minute, he was just getting our son ready" Amy said.

Just then a little boy came running down the stairs, giggling his little head off. And a man running behind who I assumed is his dad.

"Mathew get back here!" his dad shouted which just made him giggle more, he was about to run past me but I scooped him up before he could.

"Hey little man where you going in such a rush?" I asked him.

"No let me go my dad's going to catch me" he said.

I handed him over to his dad.

"Sorry about that" he said "He's got a lot of energy today, I'm Daniel. The Gamma here at Gold Moon" he said and shook my hand, while trying to keep hold of his son.

"Alpha Sam of White Moon" I smiled at him.

"You've sure got your handful with these two huh? are they twins?" Amy looked like she was about to saying something but Mathew beat her to it "No, I'm 6 Maisey is 5" he said holding up his fingers.

"Woah so you're nearly a big strong boy?"

Mathew nodded and showed me his bicep muscles.

"Oh wow yes definitely nearly a big strong boy" I smiled at him and ruffled his hair.

"Ok kids let's go and let Alpha Sam and Luna Freya get settled shall we? It was very nice to meet you" Amy said.

Freya lead me to her room which is where we were going to be staying while we were here, James had offered Dean and Ashleigh a guestroom in the pack house but Ashleigh wanted to go to her home in the pack territory instead.

Freyas room was cute and decorated in all different shades of grey, I put our bags down and sat on her bed.

"Hmm comfy" I said.

"listen.. I need to talk to you about what my dad told me last night"

"What is it?" she asked and came and sat next to me the bed.

"Well I don't really know how to say it apart from just saying it... You're a special breed of wolf called an Apex Wolf"

"Huh?"

"Yeah and apparently no one knows a lot about them apart from they're dominant and powerful and that they're made from the bite of a Dire Wolf. So one of your ancestors must have been turned by one"

"umm.. Ok? I don't really know what to do with that information" She said.

"Are you sure there's nothing else about them?"

"Not that we know of no"

She stood up and grabbed her laptop, she turned it on and opened up the werewolf Internet browser.

"Apex Wolves" she typed in.

She clicked on a couple of links but they just said what we already knew.

"Oh here's something new" she said.

"Apex wolves dominant and powerful bla bla bla... Female Apex Wolves are extremely rare as there has only been one ever recorded so far in the 1500s.

Apex Wolves are incredibly strong and fast.

And it is said that when an Apex Wolf meets their mate, they will have an unbreakable bond. If an Apex Wolf meets their mate before they come of age they will be drawn to eachother before they get their wolves"

"Well that explains why I've always felt drawn to you then" I said.

"Yeah same, I always though it was just a crush but I guess not" she laughed.

"You're taking all this really well you know?"

"What am I supposed to do? Freak out about being a powerful wolf? Hell no" she said.

"Have you asked Star if she knew about this?" I asked her.

"Oh good idea"

I stood there in silence while Freya was talking to Star.

"No, she says she had no idea" she shrugged.

"Anyway let's go get some food I'm starving" She said, we made our way down to the dinning room and everyone else was already there.

"Hey guys" Freya said and we sat down.

"Shall we tell them?" Freya midlinked me.

"It's up to you, it's yours to tell not mine" I replied and smiled at her.

Freya told them what we had found out and everyone was shocked.

"bullshit" James said. I let out a little growl and Freya put her hand on my leg.

"If you're supposed to be dominant and be able to make even an Alpha submit do it to me" he said.

"I don't know how to do it yet" Freya replied.

"It's easy Frey watch" he said.

"Just focus on your Alpha aura or in your case your Luna aura and push it out" he said. Everyone at the table submitted except me, Luna Zoe.. And Freya.

Luna Zoe wouldn't be affected because a Luna cannot be made to submit by their Alpha because they are equals, but Freya should be submitting.

"Well I think that proves it really" I said and smirked.

"I want to try" Freya said and closed her eyes.

I could see she was trying hard to concentrate. and then I felt her aura and it was strong, everyone submitted immediately except for James who you could see was trying to fight it, but then he lost the fight and submitted. I smirked again.

"Damn Frey!" James said. Freya just smiled big.

"That was really f*****g hot" I mindlinked her. And she blushed.

"Well I guess it's true then, guess it makes sense now how you were able to beat most of our male fighters in training" he said.

I lifted a brow at her "Really?"

"Oh yeah she was one of our strongest fighters here" Kyle said. "Our males here start training at the age of 16, so when Freya turned 16 and asked our dad if she could train too he said yes. When she went to training for the first time all the males laughed at her. But she showed them by beating the crap out of them all in sparing" Kyle laughed. "And no one messed with her after that and she inspired more females to train too"

"Speaking of training, will you both be joining us in the morning?"

I looked at Freya and she nodded.

"I guess we will be" I smiled and nodded.

I was eager to see what she could, I've seen her train at our pack but we don't have sparing. Maybe we should include it in our morning training.

"Dean? Ashleigh? Will you be joining?" Kyle asked.

"I will, But Ash won't" Dean replied.

"I've tried for years to get Ashleigh to start training but she's always said no" Freya said rolling her eyes and everyone laughed.
