After a day filled with thrilling activities, Ishaan wasn’t ready to stop. He wanted Arohi to fully experience Bali—the beauty, the excitement, and most importantly, the joy of living in the moment.
ATV Ride Through the Jungle
The next morning, Ishaan woke Arohi up early. “Get dressed. We’re going on a ride.”
“Where?” she asked, rubbing her sleepy eyes.
“You’ll see,” he winked.
Soon, they arrived at an ATV adventure park, where they were handed helmets and briefed on how to control the powerful four-wheelers.
Arohi looked at Ishaan skeptically. “Are you sure this is safe?”
“Of course! Just don’t crash into a tree,” he smirked.
With a deep breath, Arohi hopped onto the ATV, gripping the handlebars tightly. As the instructor signaled the start, Ishaan took off first, zooming through the muddy jungle trails.
Arohi followed hesitantly but soon got the hang of it. She laughed as she splashed through puddles, feeling the adrenaline rush as she navigated through rough terrain.
At one point, Ishaan slowed down to ride beside her. “Having fun yet?”
She grinned, splattered with mud. “Maybe.”
Just then, Ishaan purposely sped through a deep puddle, splashing her.
“Ishaan!” she gasped.
“Oops,” he laughed. “Now you look even better.”
Arohi playfully sped ahead and splashed him back, making him yelp.
By the time they finished, they were both covered in mud but laughing uncontrollably.
Exploring the Sacred Monkey Forest
After cleaning up, they headed to the Sacred Monkey Forest in Ubud.
Arohi was fascinated by the lush greenery and ancient temple ruins, but what stole her attention were the cheeky monkeys climbing all around.
“Be careful,” Ishaan warned. “They love stealing things.”
Just as he said that, a monkey snatched his sunglasses and climbed a tree.
Arohi burst into laughter. “Ishaan, I think he looks better in them.”
Ishaan groaned. “That was my favorite pair.”
A guide handed him a banana, and after some coaxing, the monkey finally dropped the sunglasses in exchange for the treat.
“That’s it. I’m never trusting a monkey again,” Ishaan declared, while Arohi laughed the entire way out.
Couple’s Spa by the Waterfall
After all the adventures, Ishaan decided it was time for something more relaxing.
He surprised Arohi with a luxurious couple’s spa near a hidden waterfall.
The moment they stepped into the open-air pavilion, surrounded by nature, Arohi sighed in contentment. The sound of the waterfall, the scent of essential oils, and the gentle hands of the masseuses made her feel truly at peace.
As they lay side by side, Ishaan peeked at her and whispered, “Feeling better now?”
Arohi smiled softly. “Much better.”
Romantic Sunset Dinner on a Private Beach
To end the day, Ishaan arranged a romantic sunset dinner on a secluded beach.
A beautifully decorated table was set up right on the sand, with fairy lights glowing around them. Arohi’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Ishaan… this is beautiful.”
He pulled out a chair for her, smiling. “Only the best for you.”
As they dined on fresh seafood and tropical desserts, the sun slowly set over the ocean, painting the sky in shades of orange, pink, and purple.
For the first time in a long while, Arohi felt… happy.
Ishaan reached for her hand. “No more sadness, okay?”
She nodded, feeling warmth spread in her chest.
Maybe she could believe in love again.
And maybe… just maybe… she was finally ready to move forward.
