The day had finally arrived—Arohi and Ishaan were leaving for their honeymoon in Bali. But for Ishaan, this trip meant more than just a vacation. Over time, he had slowly fallen in love with Arohi. And now, he wanted to make it official. Even though they were legally married, he wanted to propose to her properly, to ask for her heart the way he wished he had from the beginning. He confided in Aman and Nina about his plan. They were thrilled and promised to help in any way they could. More importantly, Ishaan had already sought permission from Arohi’s father. “She’s my life,” Ishaan had told him sincerely. “I want to give her the love and happiness she deserves.” Arohi’s father had smiled, patting his shoulder. “You already have, son. And I know you’ll continue to.” With everything set in place, they packed for Bali. Ishaan had arranged a beautiful proposal at the resort, choosing the perfect diamond ring—a symbol of the love he had grown to cherish. When they landed in Bali, the exhaustion from the long flight hit them. “Let’s just rest today,” Arohi yawned as they checked into their luxurious resort. “Agreed,” Ishaan chuckled. “I don’t want our first day to be spent battling flight sickness.” After some rest, they dressed up for a quiet dinner at the resort’s beachfront restaurant. The soft breeze carried the scent of salt and tropical flowers, the perfect setting for a romantic evening. They laughed, shared stories, and for a moment, everything felt absolutely perfect. After dinner, they decided to take a walk along the resort’s private beach. The waves kissed the shore gently, and the moonlight illuminated the path before them. “I can’t believe our families planned this whole trip,” Arohi mused, hugging her arms as the breeze blew through her hair. Ishaan smirked. “They just wanted an excuse to get rid of us for a while.” Arohi chuckled, nudging his arm playfully. But then… she stopped. Her body stiffened. Her breath hitched. Ishaan frowned. “Arohi?” She didn’t respond. Her wide, terrified eyes were locked on something—or someone—in the distance. And then, before Ishaan could react, she collapsed. “Arohi!” he shouted, catching her just in time before she hit the ground. His heart pounded in panic. “Arohi! Wake up!” She was unconscious. Cold sweat beaded her forehead, her breathing uneven. Not knowing what else to do, Ishaan carried her in his arms and rushed back to their room. Ishaan carefully laid Arohi on the bed, his hands shaking slightly. What had happened? One moment, she was fine, and the next… she had looked like she had seen a ghost. His thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door. He opened it, half-expecting hotel staff—but instead, he saw someone who made his stomach tighten. Arjun. Without a word, Arjun pushed past him and rushed toward Arohi. “What the hell are you doing here?” Ishaan demanded, his voice sharp with suspicion. But Arjun wasn’t listening. His eyes were solely focused on Arohi, lying unconscious on the bed. “Arohi…” he whispered, his expression filled with something Ishaan couldn’t quite place—pain, guilt, desperation. Ishaan clenched his jaw, his fists tightening. Who was Arjun to Arohi? And why did she faint at the mere sight of him? As Ishaan stood there, the weight of the past he knew nothing about crashed into their present..
