As the evening went on, Arohi and Ishaan’s parents stood at the center of the grand party, raising their glasses for a toast. “To our wonderful children,” Arohi’s father began, his voice filled with pride. “This union has not only brought them together, but it has also brought our families closer. We are truly blessed to have such a welcoming and loving family on both sides.” Ishaan’s father smiled warmly. “Since the moment Arohi and Ishaan got married, they’ve been busy building their life together in the U.S. But there’s something they never got to do properly…” Arohi exchanged a confused glance with Ishaan as her mother stepped forward with a mischievous smile. “So, as a gift from both families,” her mother continued, “we have a surprise for you.” Ishaan raised an eyebrow. “A surprise?” His mother nodded. “Yes. An all-expenses-paid honeymoon to Bali!” A stunned silence followed. Arohi and Ishaan’s eyes widened in disbelief. “Wait… *what*?” Arohi gasped. Ishaan blinked. “You’re kidding, right?” “Nope,” Arohi’s father grinned. “The tickets are booked, the itinerary is set, and you both are flying off in three days!” The entire crowd erupted into cheers and applause. Arohi groaned playfully. “Why do our parents always go over the top?” Ishaan chuckled. “I have no idea, but I guess we don’t really have a choice, do we?” As the guests continued enjoying the night, Ishaan turned to Arohi with a smirk. “Since we’re already stuck with this honeymoon plan, we might as well enjoy the night, right?” He extended his hand toward her. “Dance with me?” Arohi hesitated for a second before placing her hand in his. “Fine, but no stepping on my feet.” He chuckled. “No promises.” As they swayed to the soft melody playing in the background, Ishaan pulled her closer, their movements syncing effortlessly. The warmth of his hand on her waist sent a familiar comfort through her. “Guess we’re going on a honeymoon, huh?” he murmured, amusement lacing his voice. Arohi sighed dramatically. “Yeah. Why do our parents always do things over the top?” They both laughed, their eyes twinkling under the soft lights. “Oh, by the way,” Ishaan said suddenly. “I called Aman just now. He told me Teddy is doing fine, and Nina sent her greetings to you.” Arohi smiled. “That’s good to hear. I miss Teddy.” “You mean you miss Teddy more than you miss me?” Ishaan teased. Arohi rolled her eyes. “Obviously.” Ishaan gasped dramatically. “I feel so betrayed.” She smirked. “You’ll survive.” He pulled her even closer. “Well, maybe I’ll just have to make sure you don’t miss anyone but *me* in Bali.” Arohi’s breath hitched slightly, but she quickly masked it with a smirk. “We’ll see about that.” As they continued their dance, surrounded by family, friends, and laughter, both of them knew—this was just the beginning of something even more beautiful.
