Chapter 01: I lost everything

It was in the afternoon when I got a call from my best friend Kelly telling me that she is at the police station. I could not ask what is going on because I know my friend she is as stubborn as a hungry cat.

It seems like his father is the father of the nation because she neither care about stupid stuffs in front of her nor afraid of anything we are way alike.

"Kelly, what did you do again?" I asked although I knew what was wrong.

"Hey, Olivia you are here so early"

"Have made police station your second home?"

"It is not like that Olivia. It is my boy........no my ex boyfriend let me come here"

"Why did he let you come here?"

"I fought with his chick today morning"

"When did you broke up with him?" I had to asked because I was not informed about this.

"Today morning" Kelly answered not knowing how to explain it to me.

As I was asking Kelly about how she ended up in the police station I could see Alex the ex - boyfriend of my Best friend getting out of the commissioner's office since Maggie the new chick of His was the commissioner's daughter.

"Alex if you were going to do this to my friend , you could have just leave her alone since then" I had to open up to him . I didn't like what he did to Kelly and he remained silent.

"He has nothing to do with this, she is just a used toy" Maggie said it to me but aiming the words to Kelly

"WHAT THE HELL!!" Kelly shouted and went to catch Maggie's hair so the fight started

"I think everyone has their own home ,this is not a place for fighting so everyone mind your own business" one of the station officer said after ending the fight of the two girls.

"And what about me?"Kelly asked out loudly making every one in the police station to look at her

" Your friend already bailed you out"

"Thank you Olivia"she said hugging me

"Let's go home" I said it to her and we took my car to her place

"You have to start a new life now" I said it to her and took my car to the department store that was given to me as a gift by my grandmother when I turned 20.

As I entered to the wear department I found a young man who seem to be from a rich family messing with one of my employees, he made them kneel and try shoe samples on their back. Truly I didn't like that behavior

"Excuse me young man ,what do you think you are doing?" I asked angrily

"I can see another stand has come"he said arrogantly

"What do you want the most? Or .......is it hurting others like this?"

"I want to look smart"

"Mmh you want to look smart I can make you look like one"

"No one can make me look smart other than myself"

"Then this is not the only building with what you want, can you free the girls and feel free to choose whatever you want"

"What a crazy b***h!" He said smiling arrogantly

""You crossed the line young man" I said and gave him a flying kick.

I didn't want to know who he was so I opened his tie and tie his hands.

"Security, can you please take him to police station?"

But to my surprise the man caught my leg.

"Please don't take me there , I will be a dead meat if my brother will find out"

"So why did you act like this knowing the consequences?"

"I wanted them to fear me and respect me like the way my brother is"

"Take this card back with you and been a bad boy is not a good thing next time I will take you to jail" I said it to him letting him go.

After I finished my business I went back home preparing myself for a sleep and ........... I slept unknowingly.

What a nice morning I could still feel the sun rays kissing my skin but little did I know that it will be the worst day of my life.

As I was preparing myself to board my car, I could see three big black cars in front of my house. I could see men in black suit surrounding my house and I heard a familiar voice

"Hey, how are you doing?" I turned it was my mom's

"Mom!" I called surprisingly

"What a shameless kid, boys you may proceed"

"What do you mean by that?"I asked her and came closer to her

"You are no longer our family , for your information you were removed from the family registration so now everything belongs to the Evans"

"Why are you doing this to me?" I asked my mother while in tears

"You are a burden to us" Alice my mother answered with regrets on her tone

I didn't give even a deep breath when I got a phone call from Kelly

"Liv we got some problem"Kelly said confused

"What is it again?"

"The department store is in chaos"

"Who led that chaos there?"

"Your sister Erin"

"Kelly, I am sorry for everything but help me pack my stuffs in my office and I will come to take them from you. Ok" I had to accept the outcome cause there is no one to help me. I have to accept that I am alone and I need things of my own.

I knew this day would so I opened my secret bank account outside the country knowing one day all my bank accounts will be freezes and yes today is the day.

I decided to choose a difficult path of my life. So what was it .... I changed my name because I found it like a bad luck to me and I had to accept that I am now an orphan... nothing less..

So here I come .... I am at the air port ready to leave the country and have a new beginning ..... I left in a quiet way that no one knew where I was.

"Your passport please?" The attendant asked for it and I gave it to her

" Bethany Nil , right"

"Yeah" I answered and I got my ticket ready for a flight.
