Lynx's POV
I leaned against the receptionist's desk. It was a surprisingly quiet day. I wish I had called out to spend more time with Brie, but we were short-staffed as is. Plus, I was the only person who could keep Oliver calm enough not to spiral throughout the entire day. I hated this fate for him, but I was going to help him every step of the way. I may not be able to get Oliver back to himself, but I could try my hardest to get him back to living in normal society. If I tried hard enough, maybe I could reunite him with Victoria. She'd have no choice but to forgive Brie and be her friend again.
I could see that Brie missed her. It would be nice to know Brie had someone other than her parents when I'm not around.
