I looked towards my mate, who was sleeping like a baby beside me. A smile appeared on my lips and I tucked a loose strand behind her hair. She snuggled with my body and put a leg on my legs. Her lips were slightly open and she didn’t know that she is sleeping on my bed. I patted her cheek to wake her up.
“Five more minutes, Ember! Just five more minutes,” She whispered before again drifting to sleep.
“Kira! Open your eyes baby,” I said before kissing her on her cheek. Her eyes snapped open after looking toward me and looked around in panic.
“What? What am I doing here?” She asked in a panicked voice.
“You are in my room and I was waiting for you to wake up, so we can have our breakfast together,” I said while rubbing her cheek with my knuckles.
