Ang bilis ng pagpalit ng araw.
Christmas vacation came.
"Ma, sa Manila tayo magpapasko?" hindi ko maitago ang lungkot sa boses ko.
My mom's parents were there which is my grandparents and my other cousins. Hindi ako masyadong malapit sa kanila dahil dito ako lumaki sa Del Rio kung saan rin nagmulat si Papa.
We have no relatives here because my father was only son and his parents died so early.
"Oo, hindi makakauwi ang papa mo kaya doon tayo magpapasko."
I sighed and nodded.
"Kailan daw po uuwi si Papa? Sa new year?"
Mama sighed and gently shooh her head.
"Sa march na lang uuwi ang papa mo para sa graduation mo. He insisted that we must celebrate christmas and new year in Manila."
