Before The Meeting

On the day that Alpha Lewis decided to announce his plans to step down as Alpha he dressed in his best suit. Normally he simply walked around in grey sweat pants. He had no need to dress warmly, even in the winter. His body temperature kept him fairly warm. Most other items of clothing just irritated his skin. Today he would have to deal with it though. David was dressed in a similar fashion, only in black where Lewis was dressed in gray. King Stan and Queen Sara were dressed in gold from head to toe. Shantell was dressed in a long flowy silver dress, her hair braided into two fishbone braids straight to the back. This how she wore her hair most days. She liked the way it made the red she had put into her hair pop. She had decided to take a walk in the garden with her favorite book before everything began. She walked to her favorite spot by the pond and take a seat on her favorite bench. She sat there so long her legs fell asleep. Only then did she notice the time, 10 past 12. Crap, she was late. She was supposed to meet her parents at 10 til in order to meet the alpha in training, which was to take place at half past 12. As she ran to meet her parents, she bumped into this gorgeous who didn't look much older than herself. He was dressed in a black from head to toe. Except for the grey tie he wore tucked in his suit vest. It surprised the both of them when he spoke. He asked her name in a voice so low, he almost couldn't hear it himself. Before she could speak, her mother called her name and she had no choice but to run in the direction of her parents. Just as all this was going on, Alpha Lewis got a call and had to return to his pack home quickly. There had been an attack just outside his boarder and he needed to tend to the damage at once. He let David and the King and Queen know at once that the meeting would have to carry on without him.
