Chapter 3

Natalie ’s POV

In my presence, he tormented her. I and a few other wolves observed as Alpha Desmond captured Shellie.

He forced me to witness everything he did while he beat and sexually assaulted her. He said I was the next, but my turn never came because he continued to beat her and vent his rage on her. I sobbed along with her. I screamed in response to her cry.

Alpha Desmond finished with her, and then his soldiers seized control. By dawn, Shellie was completely gone.

As she sleeps here next to me, her body seems chilly. I'm reluctant to cry. I'm hesitant to move. He abandoned me and her dead body by myself.

The night keeps playing over and over in my head. He forced me to lie in bed with them. He would touch me and make fun of me. He punched me and spit in my face, but he didn't r**e me. We observed his wolves devouring her.

He wanted it completed in my presence so that I would comply with his requests. He continues to request my consent to be his mate.

I don't know why.I apologize and tell her, "Your life meant something." The fact that everyone is dead could be my fault.

Alpha Desmond enters the bedroom once more. "Eat; you need your strength for tonight," Alpha Desmond says, setting down a dish of food in front of me.I hesitate to inquire as to why I require fortitude. I take the food and start munching.

"Say thank you, master, or you do not eat," Alpha Desmond chastises me as he snatches my food away after I've had a few mouthfuls.

"Thank you, Master," I respond. I try to make him smile as I look up at him. Although it is difficult to grin next to a dead body, I try my best. I'd rather withdraw into my head or pass away. Death will surely come to me soon enough.He drops the meal on the ground. "Eat like a dog, little b***h," says Alpha Desmond .

I take my dish to the floor and sit down to eat. "No, like a dog," he replies. I follow his instructions and eat like the pack dog on the floor. I suppose that's where I am right now.

I am his dog, pet, and bitch.When wolves enter the room, they observe me feeding on the floor. I get a head scratch from one of them.

He says, "Such a good little b***h," and they all start to giggle.The wolf announces, "Everything is prepared for tonight, Alpha." I make an effort to hide the fact that I'm paying attention.Wolves go. "Natalie , come here," says Alpha Desmond .

Like a good dog, I get down on all fours and approach him. At his feet, I'm seated. He pats his knee and says, "Get up and sit in my lap." I stand up and occupy his lap.

Alpha Desmond says to me, "Tonight, you will marry me and be my wife, or you cannot marry me tonight and be the packhouse pet.

Do you know what it means to be the packhouse pet?" I turn to face Shellie."I think so, Master," I reply.He holds me firmly.

"It means that instead of me taking you into our marital bed tonight, you will be tied to the discipline table, and every wolf in this pack will get a turn at you, starting with me," explains Alpha Desmond .

I turn to see Shellie dead. I touch her with my hand. I respond to Alpha Desmond , "I get it.My chin is touched. He asks me, "Do you want to end up like Shellie?" My face starts to tear up as I cry.I reply, "No, I don't want to pass away.

"Once that is decided, Alpha Desmond tells me, "We will be married at sunset. My pack will be here, and because you have no one to invite, I have invited other packs to join us.

You will be grateful and pleased and mention nothing of how you got here.I give a head nod. His hand's back makes solid contact with the side of my face.

I raise an eye to him. I apologize to the master and promise to behave tonight like a lovely bride. I make an effort to grin.He draws me in close before grabbing my exposed ass.

Alpha Desmond threatens, "Little b***h, I will make your first night in my bed hell on earth if you give me any trouble.""I understand, Master," I reply to him.

He holds both of my breasts firmly as he peers down at them. While he hurts me, I squeal. I started having trouble breathing.

Alpha Desmond throws me into bed and says, "Maybe I take your virginity now instead of waiting." His entire body's weight was on me.

I am at his mercy since he is wedged in between my legs. I can't take him on. I turn around and spot Shellie."Master, could you please take care of her first?" I pleaded.

His hand again strikes the back of my face.Alpha Desmond exclaims, "f**k. It appears that the bride will have a black eye on her wedding day." He leaves me alone.

He seizes Shelley. She is carried out of the bedroom by him. I ball myself up and start sobbing. A hand comes to touch me.

When I turn over, a she-wolf is seated by the bed."Roll over on your back, little pet," she commands.

I obeyed her request. I do not wish to put her in harm's way. She puts chains on my wrists and legs.I inquire, "What is this?"She doesn't reply to me.

She exits the bedroom and runs into Alpha Desmond while doing so. He returns to me after a brief exchange between the two of them. He scans my body with his hands while giving me a once-over.

He pinches my n*****s once again, making me whimper."You look perfect, Natalie , and I cannot wait to mark you as mine," exclaims Alpha Desmond .

He gets into his undies. I averted my gaze. I don't want to even look at him.

Alpha Harry POV

I'm terribly late getting to my older brother's wedding. I know my mother won't be pleased with me at all, but I had to take care of some business before traveling here.

When I do arrive, everything is ablaze, and I can see nothing but fire for miles.

There is nothing that is not on fire as we draw near. Together with my security crew, I exit the truck. The wolves in the truck behind me rush to my side.

I tell them, "Find my brother, his new wife, and my parents.

Try to put out this fire! NOW!"They all agree, "Yes, Alpha. We will handle it," they said, as they set off in all directions to locate my parents and extinguish the fires.

I begin to wander the grounds in search of life, but all I find is death.

Wolf attacks result in homicide. On the day of their wedding, they were attacked. According to what my parents told me, her pack consisted of elderly people and young girls. Why would someone want to harm her or my brother and his pack?

All of this is absurd. Who would do such a thing? Someone did this maliciously!Mark calls, "Alpha, we found your parents." His voice alone tells me it's not good. I dash to the area where Mark is. He is crouching down next to my parents.

Both have expired. I'd like to know who beat both of them to death. As my squad continues to search for my brother and his wife, I let out a loud growl.

I snarl into the darkness, only the dead and the few wolves with me hearing me say, "I will kill whoever is responsible for this," but nobody else can hear me.

My wolves keep looking over each corpse that is still lying there.

I was expecting to run into a living person who could tell us who did this. A tiny shout asking for assistance is coming from the direction of a platform.Argo calls to me, "There is a woman alive over here."

I dashed up to the platform where my brother exchanged vows with his new wife, and tonight I became Alpha. I turn around to watch him being torn apart.

On his wedding day, my big brother tragically passed away.The small voice begs for assistance.The owner of the little voice is visible when I look down.

She is scorched and beaten. She has bruises on her legs and is covered in her own blood. Someone had also nipped into her neck and tore off her clothes.

She starts screaming as soon as I grasp her hand. "They... They... They too... ooo k hhh er," she utters. She tries so hard to help but barely manages to communicate.I inquire, "They took her, Natalie the Luna?"She makes a head motion.

Her face is filled with tears. I ask her, "Who hurt you and took my brother's wife?""Caroline is my sister's sister," she claims.I go back to her and say, "I will find her, but I need you to tell me who took her."

She draws in a big breath."Dess Dessss mond!" she exclaims.I inquire, "Desmond , did you say Desmond as in Alpha Desmond ?"She says, "Yessss, he did this."I tell her, "We're going to take care of you, and I'll take you to a hospital."

She yells out in pain as she shakes her head.She says, "I held on," before becoming limp.

I take a seat next to her. Once more, I snarl into the night. My wolves also cry and growl in pain with me.I say, "We cannot leave the wolves in this condition." "We must take care of them."One of my wolves answers, "Yes, sir, we will be ready for them.

I'll return to his pack area with our parents, her parents, sister, and brother so they can be buried with respect. Before I leave, I will see to it that her pack and my brother's pack are given funerals.

This happened, and I can't believe it.I spent the entire night working with my wolves to properly bury every deceased wolf. We ensure that all fires have been put out.

For the trip to my brother's pack territory, my parents, her parents, her sister, and my brother are all wrapped in linen and secured as well as they can in the back of the truck.I'm at a loss as we head for my brother's pack area.

I ought to have arrived in time to put a stop to everything. Mark and Argo are fierce wolves, and they are always part of my protection squad when I travel.

If I had only followed my mother's instructions, this would not have happened. As it is, my mother is deceased, my brother's luna is missing, and dammit, I need to call Alvan.

I reach into my pocket for my phone and dial Alvan' number. Alvan picks up the phone and inquires,

"How was that big wedding?"I inform Alvan, "They are all gone, and his Luna is missing." I don't mince words; I just blurt it all out as quickly as I can.

Alvan asks, "What?"I explain, "I'm going to find her for Raymond and take mom, dad, Raymond , and Luna's sister to be buried."Alvan inquires, "Do you know who?

"I spit my throat out. "Alpha Desmond took her," I utter.Alvan responds, "Wait, I know where he is. I am sending you his location and any information I can find on him.

I am coming. I will let Mindy know what is going on and catch the first flight out."I end the call by saying, "See you soon, brother," and then I hang up.

I can't stop considering the sibling of Luna. She endured torture, r**e, and beatings.

What Alpha Desmond is doing to Luna Natalie to force her to submit to him is beyond my comprehension.

To label her and claim her as his own, he will attempt to break her.
