Not wanting to go back to the club this pissed off, I decided I’d swing by my house and get another shot of whiskey to help me calm down. Once inside, I grabbed the bottle I kept in the cabinet by the fridge and snagged my laptop before falling back onto the couch. Taking a drink of whiskey straight from the bottle, I started up the laptop and went to access the security footage from the club. I wanted to know what she’d been doing in my office earlier. No one else had access to these files. I’d never needed the security footage for anything, and hopefully, I never would, but it was good to have just in case someone ever broke in.
