Getting to the hall, Lukas stayed in the shadows. His eyes scanned what was left of the crowd in the massive reception hall. He spotted his brother talking to Julian and their uncle. A frown twisted his face as he realized that his father lied to him. He’d possibly done it in a bid to get Johanna alone, but Lukas felt no anger toward his father.
