VICTORIA'S POV -- "Well?" Ryder asks, eyebrows raised as if I had tea to spill. I stare at him blankly as I buckle myself into his passenger seat. "Well what?" I sigh, portraying hopelessness. There's a beat of silence. "Are you serious?" He grits out, voice low, eyes dark. I bite down on my teeth to stop myself from smiling at him. "What the hell did your brother's lawyer's do?"
