VICTORIA'S POV -- The heaviness on my chest increases as I step out of the elevator and stride to that familiar little room where Sheila is already pacing outside, her heels clicking against the floor as she stares at her phone while also rubbing at her face. I approach silently and reluctantly, not daring to look into the door as my heart pounds viciously. Sheila's gaze lifts to find my stone cold expression, and her head tilts, chest dipping. "I know, and I'm sorry." Is all she says. Perhaps she can see the disappointment in my eyes and how tired I look since I didn't get much sleep last night after rolling around in bed for hours as today’s possible outcome could vary. I probably thought about twenty different scenarios, and each one ended horribly. “Let’s just get this over with,”
