It's all gone to absolute s**t, and I can't even act on this raging impulse to throw the table over because Aubrey is sitting right here. I wish that we'd never come here. Why did we come here?
"I can't believe her either," Aubrey sighs, her lips titled up in a sneer. I merely grunt in agreement, nodding slowly. I need to know what she's up to, but how? I need evidence, because my word alone will not be enough if I want to leave her with nothing. She deserves nothing anyway.
"I mean, how can she just flaunt her s****l life around like that? It's gross." Audrey continues, causing pressure to form in my head.
