I sighed as I watched the horizon from the balcony. It's been a week since I got here and everything just seems slow. I'm already getting impatient with the lack of action as finding my targets was progressing quite slowly.
Bertha, the head maid who gave me quite a stern lesson on my first day here was in charge of the investigation. She might be disguised as a maid but she seems to be a high-ranking member of the gang. I don't even know how to feel about that. Whether to be grateful since someone capable was assigned to help me with everything, or worried that she was assigned to watch my every move and report back to Damon, possibly sabotage me too.
