I groaned as I ended the call with Jace. My second phone was ringing non-stop and I was getting notifications of his father's messages. At first, they started as a repeated order for me to tell him Jace's location, but they gradually evolved into threats meant to scare me and now they are full-blown death threats. I know he's serious about it and if I don't give him some sort of reply, I would be dead meat in a few days.
