Lilith took a moment to think before responding to me.
“Well, first, I’ve seen what war and battles can bring with my own eyes. And it’s something most people aren’t prepared for. I’m not willing to put my pack through that again.” I nodded; this answer was incredibly logical. “And second, it’s not something I think you’re prepared for. We’re still doing an investigation on what happened to your original pack, especially since we know that you’re alive and do have memories of it.”
