On the ride home Joy couldn't contain her excitment, She Told Dwayne and Lisa all about her day. For the first time in her life she actually felt like she fit in, she felt like this was a wonderful way to make new friends. As the days went on Joy was beginning to feel happy but her feelings for Julian were nagging at her. nomatter how hard she tried to get away from it he'd always pop up in her thoughts when she was awake and her dreams at night. The Omega was no longer there but just knowing she'd once been there made it weird for her. Assuming they were together Joy did her best to stay away from Julian, She wasn't the home wrecking type,

She spoke to her mom about the situation, Mom advised her to cast down vain imaginations because God isn't the Author of confusion but why can't I get him out of my mind. So Joy started fasting and praying asking God to break the soultie, renew her mind, and to help her because she feels like she's going nuts. It didn't really help but she wasn't losing her mind anymore.

Joy was nervous the weekend of The marriage visit was swiftly approaching and she just knew he would be coming with Jake. What about Dwayne and Sam, they could not tip Jake off that D was actually Sam's predestined mate. Lisa being in charge of the itinery was able to push the visit back a few weeks telling father that Sam needed to get situated in her class first.

Although Cornelius was the teacher Joy found herself very much so infactuated with him. One day as she sat in one of his lectures teaching on the different gifts a werewolf could possibly have she started praying for Jake, He was really a jerk but if her sister had to marry him, she wanted God to change him into a Holy man, maybe even a man like Cornelius. Suddenly in that same prayer her prayers shifted from praying for Jake to asking God if it be his will can she have Cornelius, and is he the David he promised her. From that day on she prayed for him. As she prayed she noticed Medusa acting up more and more and she had a buddy with her. It was like they were playing good cop bad cop medusa was just an itch with a b in front but Kirah would be nice nasty. Joy made a friend in the class Daisy. She confided in Daisy, encouraged Daisy, spoke life and gave love and advice to Daisy.

During class Cornelius was teaching on the gift of the seer and they were doing this exercise where the seers spoke what they saw encouraging each other. Joy picked Rosie, she was pretty, and a quiet shewolf who sat at the back of the class staying to herself. Rosie made music too Joy told her she would soon begin to sing the songs from heaven. Rosie smiled thanking Joy.

It was the last day of the week and The Blood Silk pack would be coming over next weekend to start the monthly visit. Joy walked into the classroom not like herself. She was stressed and annoyed. Mr. Cornelius was attending a funeral so he wasn't there, no sub came in but He'd left Medusa and Kirah to teach the class. Kirah opens her big mouth and says "someone isn't themselves today" Joy being honest and emotionally unintelligent begins to open up about this weekend not giving away too much information. Kirah and Medusa teams up against Joy and starts insulting her, calling her a liar, fake, and hurling insult after insult, question after question until she gets up and leaves the class sad. She walked outside to get some air, it felt like the world was spinning. she begin to pray and tell God that she didn't want to be with Cornelius, if that's what he has for her she changed her mind. His students are insane and she didn't want to deal with that. Medusa was in charge of the roster so while she was gone she removed Joy and Sam from the roster telling Cornelius a lie that Joy removed herself. Joy knew he was dealing with a lost so she kept it to herself not to burden him but she emailed him her condonlences, love, and support.

After the weekend Joy wrote Cornelius a letter telling him about himself, she was annoyed that he was the teacher and didn't even bother to see why she isn't in class. He called her into a meeting to discuss the letter and Rosie was there. Joy felt Jealous because she sensed something between Cornelius and Rosie and the way he was acting confirmed it. He told her they would handle the situation in class tomorrow.

Joy returned to class and Cornelius setup the meeting Joy called medusa and Kirah out on their tactics. Medusa responded with a secret no one knew but Daisy, so Joy called daisey out on her betrayal. The older students defended Joy although many of them still didn't fully understand her circumstances. Medusa and Kirah were embarrassed and felt attacked so they transferred schools but Cornelius protected Daisy cause she was going through something. Daisy took the semester off and although Joy didn't want to be friends anymore she still encouraged Daisey in emails, She didn't respond but Joy didn't care, She wanted her to heal and be ok, she forgave her, after awhile she just stopped altogether.

The class was much better with Medusa and Kirah gone and Joy ended up with Medusa's job, she was now in charge of the roster.

Joy cherished her job and diligently kept the roster organized in creative ways. Cornelius was impressed. They worked closely together but Joy never did or said anything out of order, being so shy she could never tell him that she liked him, but suddenly Cornelius started appearing in Joy's dreams.

It was the last day and Cornelius braught in a Prophetic wolf, She spoke to some people in the class. when she got to Joy she told Joy I see a ring and a crown, Joy God said you have a ring and a crown that belongs to you. Everyone was excited Saying "OOOh Joy you're getting married and you have a crown girl" Joy knew the crown was the She Reigns Pageant but she was clueless to who she was marrying.

As they rode home to prepare for the long weekend Joy and Sam talked about their day

"I Believe her when she says I have a ring " Joy told Sam but who it can't be Julian he has a girlfriend and mom said it's confusion

"Maybe it's Cornelius"

"Sam" Joy shouted Sam giggled

"Well I'm just glad Medusa and Kirah are gone they were the worst I can't believe they tried to expel us" Sam said thinking back on the last few weeks "Cornelius brought us back and handled it maybe he likes you too"

"Sam " Joy shouted again as they giggled harder. Joy suddenly getting serious "Sam are you okay, are you ready for this weekend"

"Joy I've accepted life's challenges, Knowing D is my mate gives me hope that God will work it out somehow. I've come too far to let Jake destroy me. I Love me, I Love you and that's my power to not let Jake have control of me, and anyway if he starts his stuff I'll just teleport right on out of there" Then she busts out laughing hard

"Sam" Joy joins in the laughter.

"What about you Joy are you okay ?" Sam asks in all seriousness

"Yes and No but I will be anyway it's not like I'll be in his face so I can handle it " Joy says in a hopeful tone 'I love this version of Sam, Healing looks so good on her' Joy thinks to herself

"I heard that" Sam laughs somemore "I Love you Joy"

"I Love you too Sissy "

"Wow look at how Joy and Sam have grown together " Lisa whispers to Dwayne

"Yeah" he replies dryly

"Oh D don't be sad it's gonna be ok just trust God and obey him the weekend will be over before you know it" Lisa encourages him

"I sure hope so" D says turning on his newest favorite song "Joy- Yesterday." silence fills the car as they drive the rest of the way home anticipating the weekend with The BloodSilk Pack. Anxiety melting with the sweet sounds of Joy's voice and melody.
