“Ms. Dhalia? What happen?”

“I can answer that for you instead”

“Who—who are you?”

“I said I will just tell you what happens, knowing me isn’t part of it…”

“Aaaaaaaa…..aaaahhhhhh”

MHAVEL POV

“Yes, Calvin will auction their share stocks on one of their hotels and it can be a real win-win situation since they will pay or even double the payment depends on how much the auctioned amount will be availed of the rightful construction company who will win and also manage the expansion of their property, they own the share stocks plus will be paid double on the management of the said property, last time it was their Hotel in Palawan, the Marshall construction was the one who won the bet they also owned a share stock, actually the bidding starts in just very low amount, not even in millions since the Calvin will be the one to give you millions, the bidding usually starts at 40k pesos only which are really funny to think about, but highlighting to everyone that they double the payment so the bidder will do everything to higher the bid amount” Sanhia explains

Upon understanding what is this auction is all about, I try to re-read the concept and rules of this auction and I found some discrepancy, I mean they are really doing a psychological effect on the people here, base on the instruction, it is obvious that they are just making money out of it.

I try to think of some way to contradict this auction and get what we want, I head my way to the washroom to freshen up when I saw Mrs. Lopez and Mrs. Gallardo both owners of a different construction company.

“Ahmmm hi, I am Mhavel Bernards can I talk to the both of you for a minute?” I said

“Sure, what is it for Ms. Bernards?”

“I know all of you here already believes that you won't get a single chance of winning the auction which is why both of you are ready now to go home… Right…?” I said

“Well, we have millions but we can't afford what Carsen and you can spend, so yes we are about to go home”

“I see, how about I will pay both of you 1.5 million for a favour to make?” I ask

I can see that they were suddenly look lightened upon hearing the 1.5 million and Mrs. Lopez suddenly ask me.

“Ahmmm what would be that favour?” Mrs. Lopez ask

“I hope it isn’t that illegal somehow?” said Mrs. Gallardo

I just look at them and give them a smile before I speak

“Well, it’s just simple and very legal, just go back to the auction hall and make sure to keep the amount bid higher as possible, besides the Carsen will fight for it until the end,” I said

“Only for that, you will give us 1.5 million?” Mrs. Lopez said

“Yes, it’s just a favor to ask though, will you both accept it?” I ask

And the two owners just give me a warm smile of agreement.

They both head their way to the auction hall while I am still thinking of how I can make contact here at this event with the Calvins

I am about to go back to the auction hall when someone approaches me.

A woman wearing a white dress which familiar to me….wait, she is the Calvins head assistant.

I was about to say something since she can help me see the Calvins but she just holds my hand and pulled me somewhere.

We are now at the fire exit when she handed me a piece of paper.

“I am Martina, I have something to discuss but I can't talk right now, I just want to ask about your mother”

She said which is written in the paper

“My Mom? Why my mother?” I ask then she let out a sticky note and starts to write and handed it to me

“I have been a curse, once I start talking things I will be dead, all I want is to know your mom, I will be direct now, my previous boss which is your mother’s previous secretary has been cursed as well, I don’t know how but she suddenly passed away, and that woman who attack us, she said something about Mrs. Bernards she said that it is all because of her, I don’t understand, I even can’t talk now, I am thinking if she can help me”

She said again on a piece of paper.

“Who is this person you are talking about?” I ask

“I don’t know her identity, I just know her face, and I was late when I got to her room, Mrs. Milano is already unconscious and died after two days and I was cursed, she said that once I start to say something her monsters will eat me alive, at first I don’t like to believe but when one appears in front of me I am really scared, after that I stop from talking and a stranger man approaches me, I believe his daughter was  slaughtered by those monster, he mentions about the portal where the monsters came from, but until now I never receive any message from him”

“Maybe I can help you with that, ahmm, here is my calling card you can call me since I need to discuss to you something but not here, and ahmm, also can you help me get the chance to talk with Calvins?” I ask and she just smiled at me then led me the way to the Calvins

I know what she has been through and still having right now is not easy so I need to solve all of this now by making Arsenas get out of their lair.

I was brought to a certain meeting room so I enter and I saw Mrs. Calvins along with her secretaries and bodyguards, they are watching the ongoing auction which I hate the mood, it’s like they are watching them as players fighting for their money.

“Oh, what a pleasure coming here Ms. Bernards,” Mrs. Calvin said

“The pleasure is all mine,” I said then sit on the chair without her approval then cross my legs, I can see that everyone around look at me

I just look at them and smile at Mrs. Calvin

“Well then, what is it that you like?” she asks and I just smile at her before opening my mouth

“Simple, I want the contract…” I said and she just laughs at me which I anticipated

“Hahahaha…look at you, I didn’t expect you were like them which is only after the contract,” she said

“Oh yes of course, who wouldn’t want the double of payment and other perks…though I am sorry to burst your bubble, I don’t like mingling in the auction hall coz I know I can get the  contract here,” I said that stop her from laughing

“Really…? You think you can get that easily?” she said

“I am not going to waste my time here for nothing, so yes, I will make you sign a contract on me,” I said with a smile that I guess shaken her a bit

“Alright, what are you going to do then?” she asks

“The time I got here it seems I am all welcome and I can sense your fear Mrs. Calvins, maybe because of how you owe my parents before when our company provides you with a good quality of service building your very own hotel though that service isn’t really within your budget and my father is indeed a soft-hearted man,” I said looking straight at her

“Maybe you are right, but I already pay for it…you might don’t know the details since you were so little that time, you don’t know everything, Ms. Bernards,” she said

“You know what is funny? It is when you are actually telling someone how liar she is and acts decently yet all she can respond is another lie… tells me Mrs. Calvins is that a talent? You are really good at it” I said then give her a sweet smile

“Whatever you say, no one knows where my document is, it has vanished inside your office, they cannot even state to me how much do I owe them, so what can I do, I guess it's just my lucky day…that is what I call fun!” she said feeling confident

“Evidence…tsk tsk, you poor one, you rely on vanished documents? You didn’t get your ass out here and look for it? You just let the time goes by, but let me tell you this, I just got the evidence…at my father’s poor closet where all the reason why half of our company income since then that is missing is in there, those people who just take advantage of my Dad sincerity to help is now abusing it, making a profit in a disgusting way, using an auction to take advantage of other people’s money-making them believe it will be saved for a double paid money which is all a simple trick” I said and I can see how tensed she is now

“What do you mean? This auction isn’t doing anything bad!” she exclaimed

“And do you still believe in that joke!?? You know from the start that there is no part of the rule that a winner will automatically the one who will be contracted and when there is already a winner you can tell that you already contracted another company than the winner itself and the one you will be contracted cannot get the double payment since they didn’t win the auction, so you played with the rules and used it to the companies who join, you somehow manage to contract the same person who is also the winner before as a cover-up to other modus auctions! You manage to build a lot of hotels and motels coz of that, you are gaining money because of this shits! Hotels aren’t your business that is why there are few that are being sold to others, your real business is this f*****g auction!!”

I said and I can see how startled she is with what I just said, I am really on the verge of my madness.

After staring at me she just silently stand up and walk but before she gets out of the room she said something

“Just wait here for the contract,” she said then leaves

I just smiled in victory then look at the monitor seeing Amanda’s smile being the winner in the auction.

After a minute they handed me the contract so I head my way to the auction hall.

When I got there, Sanhia asks me right away but I said that it is best to talk inside their house but Amanda approaches us agitatedly when she finally knew that she cannot get the contract anymore.

“You…! How dare you stole the contract that is supposed to be mine, I won the auction!” she shouts

“Yours, hahaha funny, I heard that you are clever, that you are wise, still you didn’t understand how this auction works and why Calvins do this stupid game!” I said while looking fierce at Amanda

“I know exactly what I am doing and I never been defeated!” she said looking angry at me.

“Oh, so this must be your first time? You see, this auction is just a plain game, they just use the term “doubling the payment base on the auction amount of the winner” but it didn’t state there that the winner gets the contract, how come you don’t get that Amanda? Hmmm anyway our purpose here is done, now will you excuse us”

I said then walk outside, we head to my car and I start the engine, when we almost near Sanhia’s house we both stunned to see Arlene’s sister Armina.

She was filled with blood and still panting, we decided to get out to check on her.

I ask what happened and she explains everything, I was about to call my assistant to get a hotel for her to stay in but she insists to be with us in Sanhia’s house on that part, Sanhia look at me and I get what she is trying to tell me.

Sanhia asks a further question and we both right with what we are thinking so she offers her hand to her but she refuses and was about to escape but I stop her from standing in her way.

“Where do you think you’re going….ARMINA?” I ask and I can feel now my eyes are turning green.

This f*****g monster is now facing her death.

She suddenly changes into her original form, she is like the batwoman monster, she tries to attack me but I avoided her.

“Do you think you can always escape on us?” the monster said facing me

“Oh b***h I am not escaping, matter of fact, I am keen to meet you all and also your coward boss, who only manages to let you be killed instead of facing us!” I said

“You have no idea what is she capable of, above anyone you should know better since she did kill your mother and now we will get you! hahahhaha” she said that makes me pissed I was about to attack her instead and she just flew up but I got to hold her foot and pulled her back to the ground then Sanhia run towards us and hold the monster’s face.

The monster was about to say things but she suddenly melted into the air.

“That is what you deserve by saying my mom’s death in front of me!!!!”

I shout and suddenly I felt dizzy, I felt a cold hand touching me and makes me weak so when I was about to turn around to see who did it, I was shocked to see the mysterious black woman that I have been looking for,

I try to look at Sanhia but she seems not moving even the trees and another thing that is supposed to be moved by the wind is not swaying at all.

Fuck! She stops the time….

“It is nice to see you again dear…I am just here to wake your power up coz soon your body will be mine when the light of moon vanish I will be you and you will be me”

She said that suddenly makes me scared

I don’t know what to do but all I can feel is weakness and so I just passed out.
