Light trickled in through the small gap in my blinds as dawn approached. With a moan I opened my eyes, watching the light from the sky dance across the walls of my room. Staring at the luminescent display I remember that today was the day the countdown to midnight started. The countdown to when I turn sixteen, to the first time I will be able to connect with and hear my wolf. Amestris.
A light knock on my door sounds. I sit up smiling as a cheery faced Kane walks in. "Morning Pumpkin"
"Morning" I rubbed my eyes, confused by his presence.
The last thing I expected this morning was Kane knocking on my door at 5:30am. He chuckled, catching my bewildered expression as he relaxed himself back onto the end of my bed.
"Boss's Orders" He shrugged.
