No clue of his identity

Zayan did not help to make the situation any better instead, he placed his hand on my waist pulling me closer to him while they stared at us. He placed a soft kiss on my neck which tickled me but I couldn't dare let out any sound. I know he did this intentionally to spite Jayde for what she said about us dating.

*Flashback*

After the second round in the bathroom, we took a bath together before getting to bed. But before then, Zayan had a pressing look on his face telling me something was wrong. He clutched me by my hand, kissed it so gently and asked a question I wasn't ready to answer.

"Are you and Jayde....." he stopped midway, clearly uncomfortable.

"Am I dating Jayde?" I continued. He lowered his head and nodded, hiding his face.

"Are you guys dating? If yes, I am going to leave you alone or else you can't get rid of me so easily. A smile crept on his face as he said the last sentence.

"Erm.....". I didn't know if I should continue with the facade that Jayde started or tell him the exact truth. We've already crossed the line of friendship and I don't want to be considered as his friend either.

"I want him, " I thought as I took a glimpse of him ~ still pretty.

"NO. We're not.....dating. It was a lie. She said that because I told her you were the bodyguard and didn't understand why you were always after me". He let out a big sigh of relief and then gave me a kiss on my lips.

"Thank you," he muttered.

*End of flashback*

"Sydney!" Jayde called out a bit confused at the situation enfolding before her eyes. What is going on?

I turned to Zayan and asked him to leave while I explained things to my friends but he didn't want to. I calmly pleaded with him to leave us alone and reassured him nothing was going to happen.

" Listen, Jayde, you too Alex," I ordered. Zayan and I....spent the night together and -

"What?!" They both yelled.

"Please. Let me finish." I said. We just spent the night together, nothing happened between us. He came over last night to talk....about something important beside he's not a bad person. Actually, the truth is....we've decided to take things further even though none of us have said anything yet but I can feel the love we have for each other.

Jayde's facial expression darkens leaving me with utter confusion, I have never seen her like this before neither has she had that look of disdain on her face. Alex seemed quite disappointed but never said a word.

"Do you know who he is?" Jayde finally responded with a hint on her face as if she's about to drop a bombshell on us. I was not ready for whatever she wanted to say. I just expected them to be happy for me but that's not the case. I'm rather being interrogated.

"Ugh! What do you mean?" I finally replied. She quickly typed something on her phone and handed it over to me with these words " see it for yourself". I took the phone and the figure in front of me was Zayan. My eyes could not look away from him cause he looked beautiful; he is more beautiful in real life though.

"There is nothing here to see," I said while handing over the phone.
