We run for a few more minutes. Then soon I gave up running and started doing some parkour. In the end I got away from him. He runs fast but he can't beat me. I return to the shop and lock myself at the bathroom after I say hi to my roomates. I opened up the remaining wallets. It was all just enough to pay my debt plus buy a few medicine. I guess those 3 dollars mean a lot now. I straightway go to Doctor Go's office to buy some medicine and to finally pay him. Which also means cutting off our connection. I know I said that maybe it would be good to walk with him every morning but I realized I'm better alone. I open up the doors like I'm a superstar and hand the money to him. He was shocked to see me and he probably couldn't process it well. Seeing that his eyebrows raised and his eyes widened. He dragged me outside and made me wait there. I was nervous. I knew I had done something wrong. Should I just run home? No he'll probably find me. After a couple minutes he went out after a mom and son left. "Can you not read?" His tone feels angry. I admit it. I'm scared when people raise their voice. I'm too used to the training camp. Once you do something wrong you're dead. I avoid his eyes and try to look elsewhere. I kept bowing my head and unconsciously picked on my hands. He took a sigh as he glided his hand at his forehead. I didn't know if I was to appologize. I'm not used to doing that. "Why did you go here again?" His tone changes. I understand that he's trying his best to not lose it at me. He's tired I know, but still, what do I do? I straighten up and toughen my face. "I came to pay." I state. I made sure that I sounded certain as I hand him the money. "That's... fast?" He takes the money and counts it. "Wow, where did you gather this much in such a short time?" He asks me. I knew he had doubts. "I borrowed from a friend." I said. Again maintaining my low tone. A few minutes later, silence gathers around us. It began to be awkward soon. So I decided to turn back and go home. As I he called if I wanted to grab some coffee. I was already a few steps away from him. So I just shouted. "Next time!" Which was obviously fake. Since I have no intentions on meeting him again. Atleast not by will. I walk back to Lily. Who was already awake. She was looking for me but good thing the other people of our shop looked out for her. I gave her a nice tight hug and made her some food. Speaking of food, I've noticed that I eat more than everyone. It is because my body is used to eating a lot. Our meals back there at the training facilities were little but they were packed. Food here out here is less filling. It feels almost empty to me. The next day, I knew I had to get some more money to pay off my roomates. So I hit the streets once again. I decided to go to a market. The type of market where it's all noisy and the people are all busy asking for discounts on the fish. Where sellers and buyers go to lengths just to get more. It was early. Just when most people go to the market to get the best crops and fresh meat. I simply walked and walked while fishing out wallets and phones too. After half an hour I managed to get a lot of purses and some phones. I returned to the shop that day feeling victorious. They all ask where I'm from, I just answer with a smile and tell them I tried to find another job. That midnight as they all were asleep. I opened up my bag and there I gathered up all the money. It was more than what they lent me so I have some pocket money. I was feeling elated that night. I'll probably hand the money over bit by bit since I don't want them to suspect me. Day by day I was able to repay them and even buy Lily some things she would need. We went shopping for a new dress and even some ice cream. It's the first time I had icecream. It was cold? but it was actually good. A few weeks later as I was running my usual track at 5 a.m. I was at my third lap when I noticed a new car parked at a spot near the shop. I thought it was just some customer but it was actually Doctor Go. He approaches me by trying to keep up with my pace. "Good morning!" He cheers. I just turn back and smile. Then ran even faster so he couldn't catch up. Soon he was out of sight. I don't generally like his company. Or I'm just thinking that I have way too much interaction with other people. I return back and see him just walking steadily. "You run fast" He pants. "You're slow." I laugh off. I could see him get a bit offended. It's a small satisfaction to piss off people by criticizing them, for me. It just makes me a bit happy since I'm also used to doing it whenever I deafeat someone on the matches between us trainees at the training facility. It's funny how I'm far from that facility yet so attached to it. I look behind me and he was still trying his best to cope with me. "Coffee?" I smirk. "Yeah sure." He looks really low on energy at this point but he's still fighting. I slow down to let him catch up with me as we walk to a coffee shop droused in sweat at 6 a.m.
