I soon got my wallet out of our room. As well as explained the situation to my roomates. They said that they were all concerned about me and Lily. They all saw me wrapping her in a blanket and running out like she was gonna die. I sighed and they all gave me a hug. It was the first time other people gave me hugs. It felt great after a few seconds. It feels warm just like the sunrise amidst the chilly dew. I then went to say goodbye again. They all handed me some money. "We're sorry if this is all we can give." They looked really serious about it. I was at first unsure, but after some more words from them, I took the cash and set off. "So this is what it feels like to be with people who treat you like family." I walk towards the Doctor. We both then returned to his office. He saw me counting the money while walking. The money they handed me were all crumpled and for some reason you just know that they've been storing it for some uses. Thank goodness they let me borrow it. "So you work there?" He starts a conversation. "I clean and cook for them. Plus nails." "Oh. I see." We didn't know what to say again. So we just kept walking. We both were low on sleep but it just feels normal to me. Sleep and food aren't really a need to me since I'm not like most humans. We arrived at his office without saying much. Just us trying to keep up with the silence by briskly walking. I'm prominently of a higher stature than him. He looks short to me. I mean everyone does. I'm six feet and one. He's probably still in five feet mark. We open up the office and see Lily about to wake up. I guess all that walk racing brought us good. I hug Lily as soon as I got in. She mumbles some words as I embrace her. She asks me where she was. I was about to answer her, when Doctor Go went in with us. "You're in Disneyland." He jokes. I was startled with that. But then it clicked. Kids like her don't need to know yet. It was just me that got exposed to everything at such a young age. I really do need to protect her with my life. I then settled the bill. Sadly it was a bit short. I said I didn't have any more money. I was ashamed but I had to admit it, I can't pay it all. We were silent for a while. Then we ended up deciding that me staying around and paying it till I have enough money would be good enough. I then left that day, with Lily still wrapped in a blanket. I carried her up till the shop. Once I got there, they all offered to watch over her so I can get some sleep.I politely refused by reasoning that they've done so much for me already. They still also have some work to do today. I set Lily down on our bed, which I admit was pretty small for the both of us. Now I just need to figure a way to get out of this debt. I calculate my remaining debt and how much I earn in a day. It would take me weeks. No, this is getting out of hand. I still also need to buy her medicine. I can only think of one way, stealing. I know it's wrong but hey, I can run real fast. So I set out that day, wearing some loose clothing and a cap with a mask on. I then hit the streets. I look for redevelopment sites since there are no cameras in those areas. To my luck I found a busy street with no cameras. I start my hunting then. I easily pickpocketed two people. They were so unaware of my stealing. I thought two would be the end of my luck but I just decided to push it. I see this tall yet lean man. He was also good looking. I decided to do my works and try my best. I "accidentally" bump into him causing some slight commotion. I say sorry and hide his wallet. I then disappear into the busy crowd. I take a turn into a secluded area. I then open up his wallet. 3 dollars? I open up the cards and saw he was a police. Gosh it scares me a bit. I complain because what kind of police has 3 dollars in his pocket? I then look around, I go outside to the streets again and then I see him peeking his head in the crowd looking for me. He saw me and I knew I was in trouble. He was goin my way and I knew I had to get out of there real quick. I straight ahead hoping I'd lose him in the wave of people. We go on for a long time. The cars bumped into each other and the people were all startled. We soon both caused a big nuisance.
