I pretend to wake up after a while. I acted so shocked. Unprofessional. Doctor Jung came up soon. I acted scared of him. He injected something to me, and told me I should faint. So I did. Time passed again and I woke up again. Doctor Jung entered and gave me some food. "Let's eat." He sat in front of the table where I was. I was without restraints, but the room was well shut. "Are you ready?" Doctor Jung said as he chewed. "I want you to get out of here and save Lily. Leave and come back again when you are ready." I nod subtlely. Soon I threw the table and used Doctor Jung as hostage to get out. I had to fight some guards. But soon I was feeling more hyped up. Doctor Jung told me Lily was at his clinic since she was waiting for the weekly check up. I ran there while dodging bullets and stealing guns. I get pass the guards easily. I grabbed Lily who was elated to see me. Her eyes sparkled. I hug her and run out of there. I shoot more bullets. Soon I was having more trouble. I had Lily sprawled in front of my body as I ran. So much guards were chasing after me. I fight and run more, but I just feel weak. I can't anymore. No I need to push on. I fight more. Lily may be heavy and making me fight slower, but I will not let her go. I did not want to give up. I came here to finish this. I need to. Yet I was feeling weary again. The same feeling I felt that day when they took Lily. I shook the feeling off and and fought on. I need to get out of here. In the middle of my battle with all the guards. I feel a bullet go through my back. A sniper? I turn around for a brief moment to see who it was. To my surprise, it was actually Ji wan holding a pistol from a near distance. So he did actually betray me. So it was all true. It all makes sense now. I lose my focus for a moment. But I gained it back. This time pain was more stronger. I pushed my way through the guards and tried my best to get to the dock. Soon I see Doctor Jung Holding a grenade. I run more as I see him throw it. He rushes up to me. He also got shot in the arm as he tried to save me. We pushed on and made it to a boat. I gave her Lily as I beat people off the boat. We drove out soon. Both feeling tired. Yet they were still after us. My bullets were running out. Doctor Jung was losing a lot of blood. I had to steer the boat. It wasn't that fast but we managed to lose them after a while. I contacted Taeyong if he could wait for us at a port and rush Doctor Jung to a hospital. He immediately said yes. He rushed him to a hospital and I was out to find somewhere for us. I had to dress up as a nurse just to get inside the hospital as safe as it can get. There I saw Doctor Jung feeling better. "The Doctors said he'll be fine. Thankfully It was just at his arm and not anywhere else." I sighed as I sat beside him. I cried. I don't know why. But I did. I went on thanking him. "Why did you risk yourself for me?" "Because, you're my daughter." He pats my head as I cried beside him. I thought he was just saying it metaphorically, but he was actually sincere. "How did you know?" "I left you at the orphanage. As I applied for the organization. I separated you from your mom. In thoughts of a better life. But I brought you into hell." I was silent. After so many years. Hearing this raw truth makes me feel fuzzy. "You're my dad. My real dad." I hug him. Taeyong at the side was just watching. But I know he is happy for me. I just hope he finds his family too. We got out of there soon. We settled at Taeyong's new place. It was a bit cramped but it was better than nothing. I looked out the window that night and stared at the moon. I was happy to know that I had family still. I also look at Lily and I am thankful that she is safe. This girl sure is young, but she is tough. I kiss her forehead a goodnight kiss. "Thank you." I walk to Taeyong who was sipping some coffee. "Don't mention it."
