Eliza’s POV:
After a good and long conversation with Jason, it was time to eat. Since I missed my appointment with Su, Jason insisted I stayed for dinner at the pack house, and afterwards, he would take me home.
The moment we arrive at the pack house, Anna throws herself at me. She cries in my arms as I try to comfort her.
“Why don’t you two sit down on the couch together? I’ll bring you both a plate of food,” Jason offered.
“Yeah, let’s do that,” I say to Anna. Together, we walk towards the lounge area in the recreation room.
Once I sit down on the couch and pulled Anna with me, putting an arm around her, “Ann, what is it?” If there was anything I can do to ease her sadness, I will do it, but I have to know what it is.
