Jason’s POV:
It was as if all the misery overtook me at once. I have a four-year-old daughter. A beautiful little princess. She had my blue eyes and black hair and Jess’ curls. It was like a fairytale. I was shocked that reality had suddenly caught up with me. This explained the pain I had felt from Jess for the first half year.
My father’s wolf had scared the s**t out of her so much she didn’t even trust me to let me know I had a pup. How on earth was I ever going to catch up or make up for this? My own little girl must have thought I was a horror. Not to begin with the thoughts that Jess might have told her the worst stories about us, so she just stayed away from me, from us.
“You wanted me to come here and now you’re not saying anything!” Jess is ready to argue.
