Jason’s POV:
An hour later, Eliza and I finally go down.
In the kitchen, I can hear Tim and Miles already talking and lead Eliza that way. She stops in the doorway when she sees Miles sitting at the bar. The conversation between the two of them ends immediately, with Tim walking away.
“You look a lot better today, Liz. I hope you feel better too. If you’ll excuse me, I have other things to do,” Tim says as he passes Eliza. Eliza nods at him again, but then stares back at Miles.
“Can you still move that fat ass of yours or is a hug out of options?” Miles asks after seconds of silence.
“Fat ass? Seriously, three years your balls deep in Italy and I have a fat ass?” Eliza replies, running to Miles and flies around his neck.
