Life isn't that easy

Seeing Alara cry like this, breaks me. I don't even know what to do to comfort her.

I just hug her and let her cry on my shoulder. I comb her hair using my fingers as I rub her back using my left hand.

"Shh..Don't worry, I will always be here for you Alara." I said as I kiss her forehead.

I admit, I don't wanna lose her. And I will always be here for her no matter what. But for now all I feel is sadness. Why does she have to feel this way? She don't deserve this. I hate to see her cry and sad.

I don't want to get into details on what happened. I decided to wait her and tell me everything when she's ready.

"Think on the bright side, your grandmother will no longer suffer. And besides, She maybe gone but her memories with you will still remain." I said to her. Don't worry, I already know I suck at comforting but.. Atleast I tried. "Thank you Liam for being here with me. I really appreciate it." She said as she hug me.

I Wipe the tears on her face and give her forehead a kiss.

Alara

"Hey, do you want to come back inside of the forest?" He asked me. "Let's go somewhere different." I said to him

"Do you have a place in mind?" He asked me. "How about let's go to the cherry blossom forest." I said to him and smiled.

"As you wish." He said. "But it will be a long walk, are you sure about that?" He said. "Yeah." I answered.

We get out of this place and start walking towards the cherry blossom forest.

He's right it will be a very long walk..

"Alara?" He called me. "Hmm?" I hummed. "How are you? Have you been eating well?

"Well, All I can say that life isn't that easy for me." I answered. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"well, To be honest... I... I don't feel that good in reality." He stopped walking as he said that. "Huh? I don't understand..." He said. "I... I live in the streets with my Grandma... Until she dies. I don't have a house and a family, And I don't go to school. And I...I also don't eat regularly, I sometimes eat just one meal per day." I said.He looks at me with his eyes like they're asking me if I'm doing fine or what.

"It's okay, you don't need to worry." I said. "Do you have any friends to...Be there with you?" he asked. "Well, except for you,I have Rose and we help each other. We treat each other like siblings." I answered.He smiled at me. "Well I am glad that you have a friend that exists, unlike me... We can only see each other when you sleep.." He said.

Yeah, Why can't he exsist for atleast a day so that I can hug him for real? And we can spend time with each other in real life.

We start to walk again and no one even dares to speak.

We've been walking for a long time and we're still not into the forest.

"Hey, do you want to rest?" I asked him. "tired already?" He said and smirked at me.

"I would be lying if I said no." I said. "okay. Let's sit in those grass" He said.
