X Chapter X
Vina burst into the ritual chamber
just as chaos split the air open.
Her breath caught. Her mind blanked.
Because what she saw wasn’t possible never in history, not even the future.
Sasha—who had been lying lifeless for nearly two years—was standing.
Standing… and storming out of the ritual bed as if waking from a simple nap, he nade it look to random.
“No… no, this can’t be real,” the Spirit Wolf whispered. His voice trembled—not with anger, but absolute fear. His wolf aura flickered violently, like a candle about to die and he couldn't hide it.
“Sasha… my son…”
Vina’s lips curled into a trembling smile as she rushed toward him, hands reaching to cradle his face—
But Sasha stepped back, refusing her touch.
A wolf dropped to one knee.
“It is our greatest honor to see you awake, Alpha Sasha.”
The others followed, bowing so fast they nearly toppled. Their brains hadn’t caught up. Minutes ago, they were preparing to return to the pack empty-handed. Now… they were witnessing the impossible.
“Sasha, I’m so happy—” Vina tried again.
He ignored her.
His gaze fixed on the Spirit Wolf.
“Uncle Sherlock,” Sasha said calmly—too calmly. “It’s… interesting to see you again after so long.”
Sherlock swallowed hard. “Indeed, nephew. The pleasure… is mine.”
But Sasha wasn’t listening anymore.
His eyes had found Wren.
Broken. Beaten. weighed down.
His Luna.
Something inside him snapped.
His jaw locked.
His aura burst like lightning.
“Who,” he growled, “gave you the right… to sacrifice my Luna_ to treat her this horribly?”
No one moved. No one breathed.
Vina lifted a shaking hand. “Son… I—I bought her. From her grandmother to save your life.”
Sasha turned, expression carved from disbelief.
“You bought her?” he asked not bothering about the rest of her sentence
“Yes. For… eighty million.”
“You bought my Luna… like an object?”
Sasha’s face emptied into cold stone.
“I’ll forgive you,” he whispered, “because she isn’t dead.”
Everyone exhaled—
“But I will not forgive the fact that she was harmed.”
Without lifting a finger, Sasha flicked a glance at Sherlock—
And the Spirit Wolf was thrown across the room, slamming into the wall so violently the candles scattered.
Willom barely had time to blink.
One look at him—
And he was launched straight through a window. Glass rained everywhere as he disappeared into the night.
The pack froze in stunned terror.
This was no ordinary awakening.
This was power no wolf should possess.
Power a dead wolf shouldn’t remember.
Vina hugged herself, trembling, praying Sasha wouldn’t turn on her next.
“You found her,” Sasha muttered to her without looking. “So I’ll let it slide. Once.”
Wren watched the chaos unfold—her heartbeat pounding painfully.
Minutes ago, she was a sacrifice.
Now she was being claimed by a boy—no, a beast whose power rivaled nightmares.
Her vision swayed.
Her knees gave out.
Darkness swallowed her.
She hit the ground.
“Sasha, please,” Vina said quickly, ignoring Wren’s collapse. “You just woke up, you need rest—”
But Sasha was already beside Wren.
He lifted her into his arms with a protectiveness so fierce the entire room fell silent.
The Spirit Clan parted, terrified, as he walked past them—
A storm in human skin.
He carried Wren upstairs.
The door to his room slammed shut behind him—hard enough to kill every whisper.
Vina stared, shaking.
“Was he really unconscious this whole time?” she whispered.
“Did his Moon Heart truly wither? Because nothing about him looks weakened.”
Her eyes darted to the shattered window.
“Willom!” she gasped, running to help him.
The Spirit Clan hurried to pick up Sherlock, his face twisted in humiliation. He wanted to retaliate—but he wouldn’t dare.
“I’m sorry, Uncle,” Vina said quickly, voice cracking. “Take your clan and leave. Treat yourselves… and hurry before he decides to come back down.”
The clan scrambled to obey they knew the consequences could be pricey
But as they reached the doorway, the air shifted.
A cold wind slithered through the hall.
A shadow stretched across the floor.
And every wolf froze…
Because something
someone, Sasha ronoarh the alpha of Moon Shadow pack
came back down the stairs.
"And who said the spirit clan could leave?"
Sasha's voice cut through the tension and panic
