Paul knew the unforeseeable obstacles of this new mission he had taken on his shoulders, as he had been struggling to save and keep up his own small congregation for years. Now he had entrusted the congregation to one of his elders, but he had warned him as well, that if he saw any suspicious signs, he would need to close the congregational building and tell everybody to stay at home. But all precautionary measures proved to be a vain attempt. He had been faithful to answer the call of God, but he had never imagined that he would not even be able to get to the gathering of the North American Pastoral Group. John was his only hope.
