Winter clung to the school like a bad relative, refusing to leave. I'd been taking my new courses for weeks now and Reed was tutoring me on Magical Geometry. I still disliked the subject, but on my last test, I scored a high C. There'd been no inkling or sign of dark mages, though Reed still had me train with him once or twice a week outside of my normal studies. I was a bit disheartened though, that he hadn't tried to kiss me again like the time we brought cookies, but he was definitely hanging around me more, so that was a plus.
