Chapter Three

1476 Words
Khaleesi has always wondered why people assumed that males were more suited to leadership roles, because looking at the grown-ass men sitting around the table arguing like schoolchildren, you wouldn't think they were Alphas. She looks at Damien and rolls her eyes, Damien chuckling lightly under his breath. Sinclair looks at her confused as to why she isn't saying anything. Khaleesi suddenly slams her fist down on the marble table causing it to crack and the men sitting around jump a mile, the sudden silence in the room clear. Khaleesi looks at every one of them, a murderous glare on her face. "There is no group decision that will make the rogues disappear or obey. The reason you are all getting attacked is that you all have weaknesses. They tell you by the way they attack your packs. For example, Alpha Jacob they are sending in spies that meet your requirements lust-wise and then attack you from the inside out. Alpha Sinclair, they have been attacking you at the border as they know your warriors are weaker than they look. Instead of trying to figure out a way collectively to stop them, try finding a way to strengthen your packs." "Khaleesi, what do you suggest I do?" Khaleesi looks at Alpha Easton, the Alpha of the Full Moon pack is in his late forties and his son is not getting any better at taking over as Alpha. "You need to get Arlo trained up and ready to step up to the plate. If he isn't ready and anything happens to you, your pack won't survive." "Can you train him? He will listen to you". Khaleesi looks to Damien, who nods before she turns back to Alpha Easton. "Have him brought to Blood Moon first thing in the morning." Alpha Easton sighs with relief before he tells his Gamma to make the call back to the pack. He has a lot of respect for Khaleesi and knows she is the best Alpha they have seen and probably ever will see. The girl was a powerhouse and beyond smart, her tech company was proof of that. She took over at Blood Moon without any resistance after helping them flourish even more as a pack than they were before. Easton has seen the way her pack respects her, and he has never witnessed loyalty like that before. It is the kind of loyalty every leader wishes they had, even those who believe they have it now know that loyalty only stretches so far. For Khaleesi though, Easton would say her pack would happily die for her and find it an honor to do so. "What about my warriors?" Khaleesi looks at Sin, a passive look on her face. Sin can't take his eyes off her, his beautiful and powerful mate. Although she didn't seem to harbor any mate bond towards him, was Damien her mate now? Sin looks at her neck trying to detect any mark but is glad to see it is bare. He doesn't know how he will react if he sees her mated, to another, although it would be his own stupid fault if she did mate with someone else. It wasn't like he appreciated her when she was there, and he thought she was nothing more than a human. Now that she is a powerful and rich Alpha, he knows that she would question his motives and he wouldn't blame her. Besides, he had taken Clara as his chosen mate, a decision he is fast regretting. "Your warriors may look strong and Braun, but they have weaknesses in the way they fight. A trained and skilled fighter would recognize them easily, throw in the kind of fighting that Rogues do and your warriors are unprepared." Sin stands up and holds out his hand to her. She looks at his hand and then at him. "Come and show me what you mean. Beta Zion gets the warriors to the field" Zion sends a mind link to the pack warriors as the rest of the packs at the table stand and follow Sin and Khaleesi outside. When they walk outside, the White Moon pack looks at Khaleesi in shock. The girl they hadn't seen for five years is back, and they can feel her Alpha aura. They also notice the visible changes in her appearance. Her body is more womanly than before, her black ripped jeans clinging to her thick thighs beautifully. She has on a black crop top that has a v-neck cut but long sleeves, her toned tanned stomach on show. Her raven black hair flowed down to her waist in loose curls. On her plump lips, she has dark red lipstick and a little mascara emphasizing her eyes, making her look sexy with an exotic edge. The pack members who used to pretend not to be threatened by her beauty now look at her with envy they have never felt before, but their faces clearly show. The group stops by the training fields as the top warriors line up, waiting patiently for their commands. Sin looks at Khaleesi, who simply nods at him. He looks at his warriors and his Alpha voice breaks the silence in the air. " I want you all to pair up and spar. Alpha Khaleesi of the Blood Moon pack will see what areas we need to work on." "How can a woman become Alpha," Zeta Kyle and the other warriors start laughing, Damien and Luca groaning as Harley mutters," Here we go under his breath. They have seen what she has done to people who belittle her for being a female and, well, it never ended well for them to put it that way. "Sin, Zeta Kyle is your strongest, right?" "Yes." "Good" Khaleesi cracks her knuckles and then rushes towards him, her speed like nothing they have ever seen before. Zeta Kyle doesn't have time to react before her legs wrap around his neck, and he is flung over by her, his body slamming to the ground, a loud crack filling the air. Khaleesi leans down and looks him dead in the eye. "I am a female Alpha because I have worked hard to become the best warrior there is, I am Alpha because I have no arrogance. You are a Zeta wolf with a slow reflex. Next time you go to embarrass someone, make sure that you are a perfect warrior." She stands up and turns to the other warriors who are looking at her shocked. "The reason you can't beat rogues is simple; you are not trained properly. To defeat your enemy, you have to think like your enemy. Rogues fight in different forms of combat. They are trained in both human and wolf form. You, as warriors, should be training all day every day, doing different styles of martial arts, from Krav Maga to karate. You should work out making sure your body is prepared for war. As it is, your warriors look more like they are for show than to fight." One of the newer warriors looks at Khaleesi and raises his hand. She nods at him and knows he is probably berated a lot for being the weakest-looking one. "Are you the one that they were talking about at the mating ceremony last month? The alpha that single-handedly tore apart forty rogues?" Luca's laugh filled the air as both Damien and Harley shaking their heads with a smirk on their faces. "It is true, Alpha Khaleesi saved me when I was poisoned by a rogue she-wolf. I was about to be killed when Khaleesi started to fight the girl. There were actually thirty rogues, and she killed them quickly before taking me back to Blood Moon and has been there with us ever since. Alpha Khaleesi knows what she is talking about, you would do well to listen to her advice." "Alpha Khaleesi may not look like much to you men because you have been taught that muscles mean power, but as she just demonstrated, her size means nothing. You won't match her speed, her power, or her bloodlust. Besides, you disrespect our Alpha, you disrespect the entire Blood Moon pack." Harley stands there eyeballing the warriors, silently daring them to step out of line one more time. None of the warriors are that stupid, they have heard the stories surrounding Damien, Harley, and Luca and now, with Khaleesi at their side, it is easy to see why she is more feared than the others they have met. Khaleesi wasn't like them and as Sin looks at her, he can't help but wonder exactly what it is about her that is different. There is something there, he can feel it and so can Atlas. There is no doubt in his mind or his wolf's mind, that Khaleesi is not just a wolf.
